I think so, and it’s been obvious for awhile now…there is something off with that guy…extremely untrustworthy…maybe not as weird as Mullen, but still very, very strange.

Probably not.

But he’s certainly known to waste a ton of elite talent.

I never had him rated very high. Somewhere below guys like Jim Donnan and Houston Nutt but above Ray Goff and Brad Scott

A&M is like Doug’s neighbor Mr. Dink

Everything he shows you was very expensive but it doesn’t work

Houston Nutt is Vince Lombardi compared to Jimbo. I have a suspicion that Hog fans miss him to this very day.

Come on…all the BS coach rankings have him listed high…he’s nothing but Coach O 2.0…Winston was his Joe Burrow…

Ray Goff, Dennis Franchione come to mind.

And Pat Dye, had teams preseason #1 loaded with talent and no championships.

Nutt was the most hardheaded idiot in the world in regard to passing progression

he was good on run game, and he respected time of possession

He’s definitely the highest paid per loss coach in SEC history.

Personally I think he’s going to make a fantastic NIL analyst at Alabama next season.

Dye is probably a top 10 all time SEC coach.

Bryant/Saban/Meyer/Spurrier/Neyland

Dooley/Dye/Dodd/Vaught/Thomas

They dumped all over Sumlin who did more at A&M than Jimbo has.

That is a fact…Texas A&M under Sumlin was more exciting than A&M under Jimbo…to me, that is unarguable.

Without factoring in the title that he lucked into at Florida State, he's average at best, and the funny part, at least to me, is that A&M extended him.

I miss those teams. We had some generational talent but Nutt underachieved with them imo. He didn't coach in today's SEC either. Bama and LSU were different then.

Nutt had some fun teams to watch. He just always lost games he shouldn’t have

He was great at getting teams to play above their heads against better opponents but always played down to lesser ones

There are a few idiots that do, but nah... Nutt is appropriately despised by most Hog fans.

Would even take Dumbo over Nutt...
