He is that. Still think waters is the better overall package at Pg though. That kid has instincts you can’t track aplenty. His handles are nuts as well

Lol Bone is absolutely an NBA PG and has been rated as the best NBA prospect on our squad.
I'm not completely sure if this is correct. Do you have any links where this has been projected?
Bone is really really fast on his feet, but he's not that polished. And he could shoot better.

Jajuan Smith might not have been a prototypical PG, but I loved that guy's game. He would lock you down all 94 feet.

Yea that’s really my only knock on bone as a stand-alone. However I think tremont is a better dribbler, shooter, defender, and maybe passer to be honest

I think Waters tries to do too much a lot of times. Takes some very bad shots and gambles a lot on both ends. Much more uneven player than Bone.
When he’s on he’s the better player but I think he is also much more likely to put you in a hole in a game.

OOC I would agree with you. In conference he has been probably the most or second most consistent player on the team. Going into the Kentucky game, waters was 1st in steals per game, points per game, and assists per game in sec play. He didn’t get 20 points against kentucky so sadly he dropped out of first in that, but most players play worse than their averages against Kentucky. With LSU’s remaining schedule Waters may finish first in conference games for all three of those stats

Vol fan here. There never was a "typical Pearl PG". Where tf do you guys get this nonsense?
Guards who make flashy plays one trip down the court and put you in a hole the next trip down. Harper is obviously a much better scorer than those guys but I still see some similarity in overall style

I'll brb, going to live in the past and watch that 2014 team stick their dicks in Rupp and send Calipari to an ulcer on youtube
God I miss Scottie Wilbekin and Pat Young

The problem is, the last 6 games Waters shot:
4-17
11-18
3-12
11-18
5-16
3-13
Granted, some of those are deep threes late on the shot clock, but he takes some bad shots sometimes and can be inconsistent.

1 million percent agree with that, but I think for the most part when his shot is off he has the ability to switch his style mid-game and become a pure (and dominant) passer. Even in the games where he shot terribly he probably accounted for 20-30 points. Not to mention his defense never wavers

He also draws a lot of fouls and creates a lot of plays through getting turnovers or just insane vision

Bone is much better at passing and decision making than Waters.

No, but never thought he was...just doesn't have enough size. He gets more from his talents than most though.

Harper just went off for 25-6-8 in Baton Rouge.
This was by far his worst game of the season. He’s not the best, but he’s in the top 3-4

Kira Lewis has the highest professional ceiling of any PG in this Southeastern amateur basketball conference.

He's no Asthon Hagans

Hagans physically and defensively is an NBA scout's wet dream. I'm sure his skillset will come around
I don't know if Nembhard has the quickness or athleticism to be an NBAer but he should be really fricking good by the time he leaves UF

I maintain that Lamar Peters has the highest pro ceiling in the conference, though. So many question marks but his combo of quickness and streak shooting ability is unmatched in the conference

For the talent on the team, is Howland currently the most underachieving coach this year?

I don't know but that team is loaded with talent. Huge intimidating front line, quick guards who can shoot, young kids getting better (Perry, Woodard).
You do not want to see them as a #2 seed in the 2nd round.
