He never was

He's your typical Pearl PG. Dynamic offensively and looks great when the offense is playing with flow but when the game gets tough and physical he loses all composure and starts jacking up awful shots

Pearl only had a PG like 2 seasons at Tennessee and neither are what you described.

I was thinking of Bobby Maze in that post

Harper is better than any PG Pearl had at Tennessee except CJ Watson.

Many thought that the reason Pearl’s teams were so disjointed in the halfcourt was because he never had a reliable PG, but it turns out not even a good PG can make that outdated flex offense click unless a lot of tough jump shots are going in.

Bobby Maze was one of Pearl’s only 2 PGs at Tennessee along with CJ Watson. Don’t think he ever went crazy shooting. Never had the shot and green light that Harper does.

Lol that midget will be playing in Greece while Jordan Bone and Waters are lighting it up in the association

He could play for a lower-level Greek club. He's not going to be playing for Pana or Oly unless you think he's better than Nick Calathes or Nigel Williams-Goss

I don't think any of the three are NBA players to be honest but Bone and Waters do have good shots of making solid money in Europe

Lol Bone is absolutely an NBA PG and has been rated as the best NBA prospect on our squad.

Harper tops out at an ARIS level club imo

Bone needs to get that 3 point percentage up to around 38-40% next season. Barnes was talking the other day about him needing to become a reliable knock down shooter instead of just a capable shooter.

All the talk about Bone lol.. Bone is an excellent game-manager and efficient offensive player. But Bone does not have the play-making ability of Waters; point bank period.

PG is by far the hardest position to make it at in the NBA if you're not a freak prospect

I like Bone but he's not a clear-cut NBA player. He'll get some looks for sure but a lot of whether the fringe PG prospects make it is how long they're willing to hang out in the G League making nothing before they go over to Euroleague and make much bigger money

My guy SEC POY Wilbekin probably could've stuck somewhere as an instant-offense backup if he had been willing to grind it out in G League but he's making $2 mil a year in Europe instead

You are incredibly dumb and I’d appreciate it if you quit clogging up my basketball threads with your pointless input.

I imagine that he would probably be 4th or 5th in terms of point guards only. Waters has pretty much locked up to top PG spot, after all he is the only sec POTY candidate that is a PG it would probably go something like this
1. Tremont Waters
2. Bone
3. Tyree or Hagans
4. The other one
5. Harper
