And Im very thankful he’s still employed. Hope he stays at Texas 5&7 to finish out his contract lol

Jimbo has had some epic timing. His statement wins have come at severely clutch times in his hot seat tenure.
Like going 9-1 in a down SEC in 2020 after having his first two seasons be very average.
Or beating Bama in 2021 after 2 huge losses in a row and finishing the year 8-4. If he goes 8-4 but doesn’t beat Bama that season, his seat is getting hotter than it was. That Bama win guaranteed him 3 more years carte Blanche.
Or even last season, a terribly disappointing season but beats LSU , the division champ, and beats them like a red headed step child to go 5-7. Somehow, Jimbo’s seat is less hot than it was. Unbelievable timing by this guy. He’s stretched out the 100 mil.

That is pretty cool! Keep it up. Didn't Malzahn do something like that at Auburn? I am also looking forward who will be the next HC to do it. Got any ideas? Please post on here to let me and others know.

It's almost like he picks one game a year and focuses all of his energy on winning that game.

This is based on the AP poll, Farmer.
No one had A&M ranked in 2019 so that part was quite confusing.

If it's based on the AP then you should probably say that since there are 2 major polls. Regardless, it doesn't change how the 2021 season went.

The difference between the Coaches and AP are 25th and the highest RV team not ranked (26th). Regardless of which poll you want to use that team was still the same. Good, not great. There is nothing magical about 25 vs 26.

I don't know if he's necessarily the "worst" but he's had 5 seasons at A&M and has only finished inside the top 15 once.
