Would you do us a solid and post exactly what he demanded?

I want to know what to expect us to have to do to keep him in AU. After all, I would assume he'd want at least as much from us as he demanded from you - probably more, since everyone was saying he wanted to go 'home' to Arky.

I'm not sure you know how negotiations work.

Gus/Sexton thought they had far more leverage in the situation than was reality.

Christy has signed a Memorandum of Overdramatic. This could get interesting.

What exactly do you think he's worth? Your expectations for your own program far exceeds reality

We passed on Gus' 7 million. That's too much for us, maybe Barn will pay that. We've moved on. Norvell, Leach, or Kiffin for Arkansas.

LOL. I swear. Some of you Auburn poster boys sound like 15 year old girls who didn't make the cheer team.

"I never wanted to cheer anyway."

Ridiculous. All you have done is bitch for the last 2 years wanting Gus fired, now youre acting all high and mighty like Gus is the second coming of Christ.

Next year after he loses a game youll just be crying for him to be fired again.

It was always contingent on Gus bringing Little Nicky as his DB coach. Gus whiffed and we told him to keep his arse at Auburn.

I actually expect us to give him 7M per in good faith without Sexton even asking for it. He deserves to be the 2nd highest paid SEC coach, especially if he wins Sat.

Perhaps not, but I certainly know how message boards work.

You clearly implied that you had inside information as to what Gustav/Sexton demanded of Arky to become your coach. Your statement that it was 'more than he was worth" makes it equally clear that you had a specific dollar amount in mind.

I find your refusal to divulge that amount interesting. I believe it speaks to the actual amount of knowledge you have on the situation.

You Hogs kill me. He is transformed from a "lucky" coach in 2013 and is now taking the SEC by storm the last half of the season en route to more hardware during the Bama dynasty but you think he sucks because he hurt some feelings up in NWA.

Huh? Who said any of this here? Wrong thread.

It’s You Tigers that wanted his head a few weeks ago and are now prepared to give him a fat raise.
