Or are they gonna make a run for Dooley?

they'd go after Sark if they were smart.

The SEC should wish for us to do this.

There are 2 prior OCs (and 1 other prior head coach) on staff. So it is a possibility.

But I don't see that as the goal in letting Chaney walk.

The odds are an external candidate wins the job.

Coley is the odds-on favorite.

You think Kirby is prepared to evaluate and interview national candidates to come in and revamp the offense?

Coley would allow continuity for an offense that returns a lot of players while also allowing him to give much needed raises to other staffers. Also allows him to upgrade the staff’s recruiting potential, as Chaney isn’t known for being great on the trail.

I haven't heard of Chaney doing a lick of recruiting other than meeting with recruits when they're on campus.

Revamp the offense? No

But the past 2 QB LOIs have been dual threats. And the other QB who may come to UGA this year is also a dual threat (blueshirt candidate).

It isn't unimaginable that there is a shift in playcall frequency.
