Losing to Ron Zook team from Florida is not a good look for UGA.

No doubt, but if we were lucky like LSU 2003, we might have won a national title.

2002 had 2 undefeated untied teams in the championship team. UGA wasn’t unlucky, they got beat. Unlucky would be if they were unbeaten and untied but still were left out.

Do you believe that any time UGA gets beat it’s just bad luck?

Or are you upset they couldn’t back into a BCS championship game? Would you have put them in ahead of an unbeaten tOSU or Miami? (I think those were teams. I should look it up)

They are pretty good at choking. I mean they have choked repeatedly for the previous 40 years.

Lsu 2003 was lucky they got a MNC shot because they got beat. 2007 LSU was even luckier because they got beat twice. Prove me wrong.

BTW, if you are going to run from the previous discussions that you don’t have a clue about, as you always do, don’t jump into another one that you don’t have a clue about. It’s a bad look.

He didn't say they weren't big games. He explicitly said those were big games, and that you constantly lose them.

There's a difference.

So instead of believing 2003 LSU didn’t earn or merit a spot your answer is to lower expectations.... that seems like the most UGA thing ever. Wow. I hope you don’t apply this to the rest of your live.

It wasn't "luck" that LSU went 13-1 and beat OU in the National Championship Game.

It is only bad luck UGA doesn’t go undefeated every year Sir. They are unbeatable without bad luck.

So to sum it up, You “move on” because it’s “disappointing and dull” how easily your terrible points are proven wrong

I think you misunderstood his post. He said we were good, but because we have not won a national Championship cannot be considered great. It's hard to argue against his position....at least for me it's hard. In my book ipodking nailed it. Right now we are good....maybe even very good, but not great.

You realize that we won the SEC Championship game in 2017 and also won the Rose Bowl/Playoff game in 2017, too, right? I think constantly is a bit overstated, don't you think?

constantly

Would you say LSU chokes repeatedly?

2010 Arkansas
2011 NC Game
2012 Florida
2013 Georgia
2014 Arkansas
2015 Arkansas
2015 Ole Miss
2017 Mississippi State
2017 Troy
2018 Texas A&M

I mean, wouldn't you say LSU should have won all those games? I am betting I could go back a lot further and find games LSU has "choked" in.

Will be 4 seasons ago come Fall. Who cares? Since 2017 Georgia has been absolutely embarrassed by the SEC West and has zero playoff appearances. Not a single one.

Apparently you care enough to continue the discussion.

By "embarrassed by the SEC West", you mean "embarrassed/defeated by Alabama and LSU", right? UGA has won all its other games against SECW teams since 2017.

Also please note that Alabama and LSU have been the only representatives from the SEC in the playoffs since 2017 and there are players on the UGA roster in 2021 who were on the 2017 team, so I don't think it's ungenerous to include the 2017 team in terms of recent history (SEC Champions and playoff game winners).

I think you're desire to make fun of UGA fans is getting in the way of your ability to rationally discuss the issue.

UGA is 6-4 vs the SEC West in the last three seasons, including the SECCG.
