What's AU's obsession with UGA's feelings? You guys get to play in the NC game and I've seen at least 5 threads commenting on how mad UGA is. I don't get it.

We barely beat LSU and TN, I won't forget that. We snuck past them and I have full respect. AU fans are on a delirious high and have no remembrance of how the UGA/AU game ended, just that they won. I hope FSU fricks them up bad.

No even you can believe that.
That statement is why Georgia is so mad. They can't deal with reality. The reality is, things are going bad for you right now. It has nothing to do with us. If we dropped that pass, what good would it have done you? Maybe the Outback bowl instead of the Gator?
I could see if that game was Bama and they were that mad. We would have taken their chance at the natty. But UGA was already a dumpster fire. We just put some more trash on it.
Georgias issue is with their own program. Really has nothing to do with Auburn or our fan base.

The way they snatched defeat from the jaws of victory has left a permanent scar on their collective psyche

UGA fans are mad bec AU, UT, UF, GT, LSU, and Bama have something that they have not had in now 33 seasons.
This is the correct answer.

Pretty good injury-riddled season for being a dumpster fire, I guess.

I think our issue is with an unreal amount of injuries throughout the season, game altering referee calls, last second lucky plays, getting totally fricked on our bowl selection, and having a coach that seems pretty much okay with everything I just typed. If any of those targeting calls happened to another school we'd still be having a thread a day about it.

All this is basically the dumpster fire I was referring too. You started out as preseason champions. Again. Got more season injuries than anyone can believe. I will say one targeting call that was just a joke and then no luck at all.
Your coaching issue is yours. And it will continue to be yours until someone at UGA realizes it that can make the change.

You'd cry too if it happened tooooo youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

I just hope that when UGA gets their natty, they'll change the absurd "this is our year!" expectations that result in UGA's suicidal attitude most years.
At this point, I'm not even sure they'd enjoy the natty. It'd just be relief.

Maybe we should make an academic section of the rant, where auburn would be 1-11 and uga would still lose to vandy

I agree 100%. Hell, Richt might could go somewhere else and win a natty. But the fit does not work in Athens for some reason.

This is legitimate
Your defense was suspect throughout the season.
Targeting calls are bunk for any team. The penalty is way too severe imo. Just call the PF and 15 yards, and move on.
I have said something is wrong overall with Richts philosophy to have had so many talented teams and not much to show for it. I get 10 win seasons are great and all, but to come away with very little in way of championships (SEC, BCS) would make me upset too.
Referee calls and lucky plays happen and not something a coach or team can change. So although they can be maddening are not reasons I hold onto. Unless of course it deals with a stiff dew.

I'd be mad if all of my rivals were actually winning something too.
