I know I have been banging the "Florida's population grew a ton" drum loudly, and it's true, but a lot of that growth was retired people or certain demographics from the northeast that aren't necessarily known for playing football. I'm sure you know that, but there is a big difference between those who travelled down I75 to Tampa/Fort Meyers and I95 from NY/Jersey to Miami.

Why go to a cow college in no where S Alabama when you can live and play football in Athens. But carry on, Nostradamus.
I’m going to guess you didn’t go to school at UGA. And it doesn’t take Nostradamus to figure that out.

I have two degrees from the University of Georgia on my wall that say otherwise.

.because they simply do not produce a lot of NFL talent compared to the rest of the south.
They lead the country in NFL players so your post is beyond moronic. Which fits, due to you arguing about per capita and why Florida is not good at football right now when literally no one was talking about it. It has absolutely dick to do with what I or anyone else was posting about.
You created a debate that no one was posting about and are now arguing with yourself bc you’re clearly a bored moron who has nothing better to do. Neither thing has anything to do with what I said : which was being that Florida had a large population boom and got more players out of it in the 80s and currently have the most players in the NFL. Please go take a fricking lap, no one is interested in your moronic sentiment.

AP Poll Points (2010-2023)
8. Notre Dame- 152
And they didn't make this list from 1985-2009.
I wonder who was coaching them in this period?

Which one? I’m pretty sure that one was just invented by that SID of yours in the late 1980s.
Houlgate as mentioned.
Personally, I do not consider math polls after 1936(the first year of the AP) to be valid. So I don't think Alabama should claim it. But it does have a selector.

Their SoS was pretty difficult in that time, especially towards the end of it. Back when USC and Michigan were still good etc.
They won a National Championship in 1988 with Lou Holtz as their HC.
