Many Bama posters here have said that they openly acknowledge that the LSU game is bigger to them now. I can understand that the hate isn't as strong. I'd rather Alabama win the NC five times in a row than Ole miss or Tulane

Faking and injury is I'm sure not legal. Enforcement may be issue.
Just like flopping in soccer and basketball, tbh. It's GOING to happen, but it's still a pussy move, whether your team does it or not (and my aggies are NOT blameless btw).

Without a doubt.
And is the move of a pussy coach too.

It's more the equivalent of the hug in boxing.

That's probably the most accurate analogy.

Then condition your defense better. Tough titty.
Has nothing to do with conditioning. I'm saying you can't get guys on and off that fast.

the vast majority of flopping in soccer has been removed. It's an automatic yellow now.

No such action has ever been taken against the no huddle. Faking injuries is bush-league.
Bush league? Hurrying to the line of scrimmage and snapping the ball before the defense can get lined up is the equivalent of the hidden ball trick.

Has everything to do with conditioning. You're wrong.
And if you can't sub your guys off and on while the ref is standing over the ball, then that's on the coaching staff for being ill prepared.

Meh, I won't profess to be an expert on soccer. Not really my point anyway.

I'm saying there isn't enough time. It has nothing to do with being ill prepared. It's almost impossible to do substitutions. Think 1 guy has to run on the field tell the guy he is subbed out then that guy has to run to the sideline after he is already dead tired. It's ridiculous.

Again, this comes down to coaching. Know the tendencies of the offense you're playing against and prepare accordingly for different packages to substitute on the fly. The offense is also subbing on the run while they're "dead tired." Not going to coddle the defense, I sorry.

And still call the play while the offense already knows it. Yup, that hammy starting to burn!

By making it near impossible for a defense to sub in fresh legs.
At least learn the fricking rules before trying to defend something. Not only do the refs allow for substitutions every time the offense changes sets, the majority of the teams A&M played last year were able to sub in and out just fine without "cramping".
Unless you're prepared to argue that LSU and Florida are less conditioned and need more assistance than Louisiana Tech and Missouri, there really is nothing to discuss.

That's what good defensive coaches do.
Obviously LSU found a way to make it work vs. A&M. As did Florida.

You're just not getting it.
Guy runs on field- 3 seconds
Guys tells other guy he is subbed out- 3 seconds
Guys runs off field- 5 seconds
11 seconds and that's being nice. I've seen a&m runs plays quicker than that.

Exactly. And get the defensive players the play call.
