He's a great guy and a fabulous motivator. Corner stone of the tides success. At least that's what bama fans have said over the years.

Until today....Now he's the reason for so many injuries and they have been getting manhandled in the trenches...Glad his gone.

Cochran is extremely vital to A1abana’s “success.”

The melt going down on the A1abana board shows that!

Hope he shows up wearing black, since he's going to his own funeral.

Kirby is going to fail smh...has Cochran ever did anything other than S&C?

Kirby really just hires everyone from bama. Lmao dude is pathetic

No no no

But, I don't think it's a huge deal. There have to be a billion barely employed "exercise science" graduates out there to choose from.

Kirby knows he can’t beat Saban.. he can only hope to frustrate him to retire. I would damn near want Auburn to win a title before UGA now

Part of me is glad he's gone.

And that’s just the 1.5 pages of a 5 page thread! Oof!

If UGA hired him as a strength coach it would be a great hire.

They didn’t.

I have always liked him. But, really, since about 2016 when a Jalen Hurts led offense couldn't assert themselves at will in the run game, there have been doubts.

Scott is an awesome team member and motivator.

I'm sure this wasn't easy on any part. But. Saban likely wasn't ready to put him on the field, which is the crux... much more so than his abilities in S&C.

I thank him for all. He was an icon in the Saban-Bama dynasty. Appreciate all he did, and I wish him the best.

He was a part of UGAs S&C staff a few years back. He may have started under Cochran, now that I think about it.

His star has been fading for about 3 years. If Saban wanted to keep him he would have found a position on the field. If anyone knows how to handle people leaving it is Saban.

Some coaches have more than one role. Kirby's pretty smart.

Good. He’s left Bama and is now at UGA. We win, Bama wins. Saban handled it.
