Is Cal getting near the end of his rope at Kentucky?

I’ve always thought, despite the criticism lobbed at him by UK fans over the last few years, that he was untouchable at Kentucky and would leave or retire on his own terms.

But the disastrous 2020-21 season, followed by losing a 2/15 first round matchup against St. Peter’s last year, and then starting out this year 10-6 with a loss to a team tonight that was, as of this afternoon, considered possibly the worst SEC basketball team ever, this clearly is not the same Cal-led Kentucky program over the last few years that it was ten years ago.

He will get another year. He has 4 of the top 9 players in the next class coming in.

That’s the problem . Cal has players and still has issues and has been on the slide .

I think he's just burned out and has lost all competitive fire, and his team is reflecting that.

I think of him as the Mark Richt of CBB who just happened to get the necessary luck one time. Kentucky can do better

I hope Hunter Yurachek is ready to sign Muss to a fat contract. Kentucky will have zero issues getting the best.

Transfer portal is exposing coaches in all sports. Some of these coaches aren’t that great but had massive talent advantages.
