Richardson had no talent around him.
Milroe is surrounded by 4 and 5 star talent
He has unbelievable meaurables
Huge with great speed and quickness.
Milroe is about 6’2” and 220 lbs with some good straight line speed.
He has awful mechanics. He has a good arm but not a “cannon” like someone posted.
He can’t read a defense, has awful pocket awareness. He can’t even run an RPO.
He will get drafted but it will be middle to late round. He and his dad will grift Alabama for one more year unless someone grows a pair and tells him to hit the road to Texas State or somewhere like it.

I'd imagine that if he wants to come back they have a sit down talk that it's better for both parties if he transfers to a school that runs an offense that fits his skillset. I'd hope he'd see that as well. But who knows.

You must not be familiar with the situation.

I observe from afar.

Milroe would never in a million years accept a position change.

This is an issue. Either do what the team needs or leave.

Aside from that, he would be awful at RB.

Would he? He is big and fast. Does he have terrible vision?

Milroe is a good college QB. He will go to die in NFL. If he is taken above the 5th round, dumb move. Kid cannot play in NFL unless he takes punishment running. Very, very, very short lived career.

Better save that NIL fund!

If you don’t have a better option than Milroe next season that tells you all you need to know about the state of Bama football.

Yes he had a play earlier in the season on a designed run. He had a wide open lane for a TD if he sees it and cuts back..he kept running right into the backs of his lineman and stopped for no gain.

He also has no elusiveness or quickness you like to see from RBs. He would never be able to juke the first tackler in the gap.

It's a tough call whether he comes back or not because he's done some great things at Alabama, but he's clearly regressed as a passer and has now stopped running the ball.

The decision on whether he comes back or not may hinge on the shoulders of a 17-year-old kid named Ryan Williams. If Williams tells DeBoer he wants Milroe to be his QB next season, Milroe will be the starting QB at Alabama next year.

It's sad that we've reached this point in college football, but it is what it is!

I’ve been tough on our OC because he forgets that you can run the ball on offense, but I don’t think he’s a terrible play caller. When you see open receivers and the quarterback doesn’t get them the ball, you can’t blame the coordinator.

This will be the game when the Alabama quarterback lights it up against Mizzou. The line went up to 17. Yikes! That is telling you it will be at least 3 touchdown wins for Alabama.
Alabama fans should thank Auburn for the defensive player for hurting Cook and that should get you to cruise to a huge victory over Mizzou.

I wouldn't go that far when ALU once again loses 3 regular season games this year under current HC.

If he plays his eight year of college football, it will be as QB for Gus and UCF.

IF Deboer is going to tell Milroe to move on next year, there is no reason not to either start Simpson or give him a LOT more playing time.....Shaft has been far more correct on the Milroe situation than people want to give him credit for.

All players have limitations. If Bama fails to adapt a scheme to mitigate weaknesses and highlight strengths of the talent available again, that will tell us all we need to know about the OC, CKD's leadership, and the new state of Bama football under its current leadership (used loosely).

Saban created this entire situation and then bailed on it.
