The bet is usually on the status quo side, but I'd wait until after their NIT is over to see this time around.
So wednesday night after he loses to norfolk state

I'm back and forth on Avery. He isn't a great coach but he hasn't had the same level of support given to Saban. The REC would never allow a 5* elite player like Watford to leave the state if he played football but in basketball they're going to let lowly Memphis outbid them for his services. You can't expect to compete for championships if you aren't willing to make a strong arse offer or 2.

I was going for a twofer throwing in the strong arse offer. I should have taken a little more time to work that angle in better.

KEEP AVERY, PLEASE
He is a Bama Alum and Bama is his dream school.
He started college at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta where he played NCAA Division III basketball. Prohm only made it halfway through his first season as a player when he left the team to follow his passion for coaching. He transferred to the University of Alabama where he worked as a student assistant coach and student manager for the Crimson Tide men's basketball team for five years. He graduated from Alabama in 1997 with a degree in education

It's absolutely asinine that this man is not already the coach at Alabama.

To be fair, he wasn't equating the coaches. He was equating the support that the UA fan base gives each.

The last 2 years, a 5* elite player who was ranked the #1 HS football player in Alabama, has signed with Clemson and Georgia.
