Couldn't be any worse I guess. But that program is a joke. They let Ole Miss outbid them for Kiffin and the pearl clutchers were against him anyway. Even if he sucked he would've brought a minute of relevance and excitement to that dreadful, dreadful program.

I honestly thought Arkansas would be in better shape with Chad’s tenure because he would restore relationships with Texas high school coaches. Somehow Arkansas is the biggest dumpster fire in college football. It’s amazing.

I just remember him beating OM on the reg and giving quite a few teams a scare.

Not nearly as shitty as that disgrace of a program. At this point a move to the Big 12 might be in order. Mizzou, Arky, and Aggy would maybe have a shot to be competitive there

Who cares about excitement at a press conference if we ended up sucking? I don’t give 2 shits about a splash hire if it doesn’t produce on the field. Beyond tired of the cliches and gimmick sound bites. I am excited about the coordinators we were able to get though.
Bielema had a few decent teams that should have won 9-10 games during the meat of his tenure and we were really close to finally getting over the hump, but late in 2016 and around when Pittman left it was all starting to fall apart. Morris was definitely worse than Bielema and took us even further downhill but it wasn’t going to end well regardless.

Arky had a shot at Norvell, had Kiffin in the bag at one point, and even could've taken a shot with an up and comer in Drinkwitz. But they didn't and they'll continue to fall farther and farther behind. Arky is 1-4 against Mizzou. Let that sink in

If Bert had half the work ethic of Petrino then he would still be here. But he never put in the work and the results show. His players quit on him in 17 and we were moving in the wrong direction.
But that same quit lasted another 24 games later because Chad would continue to add lighter fluid to the fire.

Kiffin currently has the 72nd rated recruiting class, and that’s not at a team that just had back to back 2-10 seasons. And probably would have left after about 2 years for a beach somewhere. Don’t get why people think he’s some great head coach when he’s already been fired twice and was at the third job for only a year (counting P5/NFL jobs).
Drinkwitz has zero SEC experience, Pittman has tons of it. All we need is for him to recruit well and stabilize the program for about 5 years to make it in better shape for the next guy.

No one thinks he's some great head coach, but there's no question he would've brought y'all some better players, implemented a real offensive system and provided a spark. Arkansas needs real help and Yurachek got his balls twisted by a bunch of idiots on that board up there. Hopefully fans know where to send their letters when the program continues to go down the toilet

Kiffin is overrated. As a HC, what has he done? He is a guy with a big personality. He had been fired at 2 jobs and ran from a job after a year. Sure he had success at a a G5 school but that is still a G5. It seems like Kiffin can't recruit. Ed Orgeron did all the heavy lifting in recruiting while at USC.
