Why are you Gump obsessed with giving Saban credit for everything?
What in the frick are you talking about? You have reading comprehension issues. I didn’t give Saban credit for anything. I used him as a vehicle to make a point about you and your insecure fanbase.

Why is he great nobody can answer this no titles or even being close.

He was the only good player they had. It was a miracle and testament to his will that they won any games. Guy was a great individual player on a terrible team.

Your troll of Archie Manning sucks, because you can't troll Archie. Everyone knows how great of an athlete he was; legendary with two sons who won suberbowls. Get new material.

I mean, you’ve been shown plenty of accolades. From being a high draft pick, a mainstay in heisman voting for three years, player of the year in footballs best league. 1st team AA.

His record as a starter was 35–101–3 (26.3%), the worst in NFL history among QBs with at least 100 starts. He retired having never played on a team that notched a winning record or made the playoffs.
Those Saints teams were horrifically bad. He was not some all-time great like his son would be but he was still a decent QB.

Lost to LSU by 44 his senior year.
1970 LSU was the 2nd or 3rd best team in America at the end of the year when the two teams played, and was avenging a close loss in 1969 that kept them from the SEC title and possibly a national title, FWIW.
LSU was really fricking good from 1969-1971.

Palmer was 3rd but has a national title ring from 1992.

That Ole Miss team in 1970 had 9 players drafted. It was loaded.

That would be Tebow. Guy was a FB playing QB. Had absolute terrible throwing mechanics.

This is the only topic I have ever posted about Ole Miss football check my history.
