You know, I studied the wins by the decades. I know he showed them to show Bama's record is better. But not by as much as I thought it would be. And the 70's was a great decade for both programs I see. I don't think any other team in the country can match up to it any better than OU did, actually.

I knew what OU's record and what Alabama's records were in football. OU is a very good football program and the OU fans have a right to be proud of it.

But that's the thing. He doesn't have a track record, really. Not as a head coach. That's what makes me a bit surprised. I thought Oklahoma would have gone after a coach with head coach experience.

Actually since Joe C. took over his strategy is to find up and coming assistants. In fact that has been what OU has done since Fairbanks with the lone exception of the 1 year Schnelly fiasco. Combine this with Venables OU ties and that's that.

This is valid. OU fans are mad about Riley but in the long run, his style of ball wouldn’t work in the SEC. Venables knows how to play with the big boys or he at least will have a tougher brand of ball that will fit in much better. It’s time to laugh at Riley for running from it.

Coach Sark has proven he is a very good assistant coach, but as a head coach not so much, just look at his time at USCw and Washington

But when has Auburn ever beat OU in football> That is why you are eating invisible apples. You basically are smack talking which I have a long history of pointing out is usually for humor or said another way, you are talking with an alligator mouth while having a monkey arse.

That was the best "back a'cha" post I've seen in a long time, and it was even funnier because you hit a denizen of a fan base I know all too well right in the mouth. Welcome to the SEC Okie. and go Dawgs.

yeah, I'm not going to argue with Alabama fans wrt program prowess. Hell I don't have a problem with Alabama being a cut above. Not even mad, have to respect the Tide.

I never heard anyone say that about Sark at UT. Nobody was overly optimistic about that hire. It was a wait and see type of hire if anything. You’re just reaching trying to shite on UT.

On paper they might he sneaky good this season.
