They got BLASTED by Clemson and a freshman QB all the while losing half their coaching staff in the offseason.
Should be preseason #13-14 IMO

nah. It's either aTm or ls-who for most overrated followed very closely by the barners.

What would that make LSU then?

Beat the defending national champs, much improved offense, new coach that will have a major impact on offensive philosophy. I’d say 5-6 is just about right

All five o linemen are preseason all SEC. Three are first team.
Tua is amazing.
They return the best WR in college football.
It’s going to be another long year for the rest of us.

Saban just signed what Luginbill called the best recruiting class ever on paper as well as the most ESPN 300 recruits in one class in the 14-year history of the ESPN top 300.
Alabama has almost triple the 4-5 stars than the next nearest team in all of CFB.
With them being preseason #2, I'd say they're way underrated.
Clemson lost all of their NFL draft picks they convinced to stay another year last year. Clemson is going to take a step back this year...they're probably the most overrated.

Oh that would be so damn awesome. I'd throw in some funds to make Alabama outside the top10 preseason.
I'm gonna be pissed if Clemson doesn't get stuck with the #1 ranking.

We return the Heisman runner-up who threw 43 TDs and almost eclipsed the 4,000-yard mark in his first year as a starter. We return the undisputed #1 receiving corps in the United States. Our top four receivers (Jeudy, Ruggs, Waddle, and Smith) would be starters anywhere else in America and all four of them could conceivably be taken in the first round of the NFL Draft. We have a solid backfield of highly recruited four and five-star talent. Our offensive line is probably going to be the best it has been since 2012.
Our secondary just might be the best in the SEC and our linebacking corps is going to be a force to be reckoned with. We also upgraded in the coaching department on that side of the football and our defense has something that it lacked last year: experience. I could be mistaken, but nine of the projected 11 starters all have at least a season of legitimate game-time experience under their belts.
We are going to make a serious run this year.
