Summer seems so long ago, when the bama faithful assured us all that the offense wouldn't miss a beat without AJ & Nuss.

AJ through six games in 2011: 1156 yards, 8 TDs, 2 INTs

Sims through 6 games in 2014: 1480 yards, 10 TDs, 3 INTs

This is with AJ having a far superior Oline and running game, and facing significantly worse competition.

When you can't run the ball, its hard to pass for ANY QB. We HAVE to get better running the ball, its as simple as that.

This. Sims is more than good enough to run a balanced attack but he's not the kind of qb that can sit back and pick a nickle defense apart. Few qbs could be very effective in Bama's offense if the running game isn't there.

As an Auburn fan I have witnesses some mind numbing moronic beliefs about why we should play the back up QB which exhibit a lack of understanding of the game so great it is hard to believe said fans watch the game. This includes the pointless discussion about benching NM for JJ right now. You sir, you take the cake. Congrats.

The Oline is your problem not Simms but i agree Coke should get a few series every game just like Harris at LSU for same reason . But Saban and Miles share one characteristic for sure, stubborn as a damn mule.

As UGA fan, I would prefer you not play Coker. I won't your offense as inexperienced as possible coming into Athens next season.

That's the other thing. bama fan assured us that Coker would only need to "manage the game" because the running game would be so unstoppable.

Ridiculous opinion. Play whoever is the best. Maybe Coker comes in this weekend regardless, but pretty sure anyone can light up A&M defense so Sims will keep the job.

Well, currently we are not out of the mix for the SECCG nor the College Football Playoff. So, the coaches need to play whomever give Bama the best chance at winning now.

Just because you think this team with Blake can not win a Championship doesn't mean it is true or that it will not happen. Quit being a pussy and quitting on the season after one loss.

Should we bench all the other seniors? What about Amari Cooper? He's going pro next year, might as well bench his arse and build for the futre, bench TJ and every other JR who might go pro. Geez quit being a pussy and hoping for another loss. GTFO of here with that sad and pathetic shite.

Probably more stupid for hiring Kiffin IMO. But since you did hire a pro type offense OC, yea, probably should be playing Coker. Sims would be a better fit in a spread/read-option type offense.

I know, I'm sorry. I meant to just post that in general, just ended up replying to your post.

My point of going back to 2011 was because it was his first year starting, compared to Sim's first year starting.

2013 AJ McCarron through 6 games:
1407 yards, 11 TDs, 3 INTs

there you go

Is this real life? You think the people that post here on the rant know more.about Bama's qb situation than the BEST CFB COACH OF OUR GENERATION? Wow.

Its not fair to compare AJ'S stats to Sim's. AJ had a far better running game and it's not really close.
