Alabama just recruits so well because of the Bama bump remember. If not for that, then these classes really aren't that good.

Both LSU and Alabama put a lot of guys in the pros. That is what every 18 year old worth his salt football player wants. Alabama just tends to win more than LSU with the same type players (as in top 5 recruiting classes).

The facts:
1. Saban has the biggest budget for football.
2. Saban has the most people working in the offices each day.
3. Saban leaves nothing to chance.
4. Saban understands that people will come and go, but process can continue.
5. Saban gets the most media coverage, it has become a self-fulfilling prophecy.
6. Saban is not distracted by things like women, money, travel, golf, hunting, hobbies, etc. He is completely and totally focused on process.
There may be some "cheating" at the edges, but no more than anyone else.
The rest of us need our programs to become more process focused instead of results focused. It's process that leads to outcome.
