Dude, someone from Louisiana should NEVER diss another state. Have you not seen the sh*thole that is Louisiana?

We’ll get y’all back for these locker stuffings and noogies you’ve applied to us in few years. Cheers!
I know you will. Just had to get a dig in somehow

You guys own us, too.
unfortunately. Every program seems to have that one annoying team that they cant beat. OU is definitely that for Bama

So that would make Alabama our new Oklahoma State? Except you win National Championships, instead of just stealing them from 1945 Army.

Those of us who came up in the 70's and 80's recall how OU just seemed to have Nebraska's number, especially when it mattered most.
The reason for this is a run-oriented I formation isn’t worth a shite if the opponent can match your physicality. Oklahoma had a lot of wardaddies on D in the Switzer years. They knew they had to stop Nebraska to make it to the Orange Bowl every year. FSU and Miami also knew that they would be playing either Nebraska or Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl all the time, so they had those great defensive fronts too.
That’s why OU, FSU, and Miami took turns bullying Nebraska with NFL ready DL and LB and coaches familiar to their scheme. Things the Huskers didn’t have to deal with as much during their 1994-97 success - and that helped a lot.
Anyway, my point is I think OU’s advantage over Nebraska back in the day was partially ingrained in their style of play. I don’t think there’s a particular explanation for OU’s recent wins over Bama.

Nebraska failed when they lost prop 48 and couldn't bring in illiterate thugs yoked up on roids to play there anymore.

They think Nebraska failed because they moved to the B1G (not even close to accurate) so they think OU will fail similarly with our move to the SEC.
The key difference is Nebraska joined the B1G and abandoned every single rivalry they have ever had in the process. Since they left the Big 12 after the 2010 season they have played the following games against their former Big VIII rivals.
Colorado 1-3
Oklahoma 0-2
15 seasons, 6 games and a horrible record at that.
While OU did cut off OSU you bastards still have us and you re-gained Mizzou. You could schedule an annual non-conference game with Nebraska like the Texas game was prior to 1996 but that would by far and away benefit Nebraska more than Oklahoma.

OSU isn't a rival.
Y'all can say that all you want but they don't hand out nicknames to series when it doesn't involve rivals. Yes it's a horrifically one sided rivalry but still a rivalry nonetheless

The record clearly shows it's not a rivalry.
A corporate-friendly brand being applied doesn't make it a rivalry either.

Outside of the shite talking here, I would agree.
I was hoping that you both could lose Saturday but the outcome was the preferred outcome in my books.
I'm rooting for an absolute shite show ending the season. Let chaos reign. It's the part I love about college football.
