They are going after Vaughn. About to see Bama cares about their baseball program.

Why I don't want them to fire him. I'd rather give him a shot than overpay a
"Proven" coach that will inevitably underachieve.

Exactly what State did with Arnett and we saw how that turned out.

An inconsistent team that wins series against Ark, Tenn, LSU but gets swept by Mizzou at home is the reflection of a coach who doesn’t have a damn clue. Look at his batting order chaos all season long. Get a real coach.

This, in and of itself, is a fireable offense.

GeauxFish31, you may be just an innocent bystander to this as the aggy is the intended recipient.

I know Earley ain't paid shite, that's why he got the job.
aggy donations are in the tank and continue trending down. aggy is paying more for coaches to not coach than anyone by a longshot. aggy has committed some big money to even more unnecessary facilities upgrades. In the last 18 months aggy has had to hire a new AD, Head Football Coach, Basketball Coach, Baseball Coach, and complete staffs for each. I may have missed other new hires in other sports. The aggy athletic department is in disarray and is desperately in need of structure and financial discipline. This is why Alberts the hatchet man was hired, 3rd AD in a few years.
Looking to hire a third Baseball coach in less than 12 months is a sports agent wet dream, especially if it's $aggy$ looking to hire.
The aggy fan will double down with their more money than God bull shite, and the rest of the world will sit back and continue laughing at the shite show. Carry on aggy, the world is yours. Go hire a new six million dollar man. We all know you have the money.

Similar outcomes, for sure, but I feel like the timing of Leach’s death forced our hand on Arnett.

A&M had plenty of time and an athletic director to make this hire

I would be shocked if he were fired this year unless he is glaringly incompetent with all the off the field coaching work he has to do. In that case he will be gone.

Personally, even if we would have sailed through the season as #1 and finished that way, what happens next year was going to be the indicator that shows us if he is a good coach or not.

I don't give him a free pass due to injuries this year, but they did have an impact. However, with the talent on the team, we should still be comfortably hosting a regional and not in the position we currently find ourselves.

Such an Aggy post.

Don't be surprised when that doesn't come to fruition.

When your players look at their peers at other programs hogging the headlines and more importantly improving leaps and bounds over them at the game, that loyalty is going to run out in the blink of an eye.

MSU went to CWS 3 out of the past 7 including a natty and we just fired our coach.

I don't think he has a massive buyout...so i doubt aggie would be interested in firing him at this time

He's gone. Rightfully so.

Hired because we couldn't stomach the thought of Texas not only stealing our coach but the entire roster, which could've easily happened. I don't fault the admin. With all we had coming back it was worth a shot. Turns out Earley is just not remotely close to being ready.

You may want to familiarize yourself with the baseball portal dates before you show your ignorance again.

Seems more and more likely each day. It will take a miracle for A&M to get by LSU without their ace, half of their pen, and quite a few of their best players. They aren't making a regional. That means the kiddie coach is gone.

I wouldn’t make them walk through fire but from unanimous preseason #1 to missing out on postseason play entirely ?! Better be ready to walk your arse from Hoover to College Station cause you fricking suck and your season’s over.

I’ve seen ‘em win, I’ve seen ‘em lose, but I’ve never seen them quit.

I can’t say the same for Ole Miss.
