Arkansas is very pretty and my experience is the people were nice. It would not be a bad trip.

Yes. Great college football town and plenty of sports bars just down from campus. Nice stadium, friendly fans, and an overall great atmosphere. Highly recommended trip.

Stop lying. Tons of culcha here, trash all over the roads, no jobs, terrible schools. Stay away.

The irony is that anyone from Baton Rouge would be asking if a road trip is worth it. Pretty much any thing that gets you out of Baton Rouge for even a day is quality of life upgrade.

Haven't the leaves fallen down there yet?

Just over this last week and a half or so. Had some wind storms that took them down. But otherwise it's been a very mild late fall. It's only gotten "cold" a couple nights. Temps still hoovering around 70°.

All gone. But you should have been here a few
weeks ago---if you can make your way through
all the trash, slums and gangs.

Fayetteville >>>>>>> Little Rock

Fayetteville is a great trip. Little Rock on the Friday after Thanksgiving was the worst road trip in the conference.

During the pandemic isn't the greatest time to really appreciate all the town has to offer but you should still have a good time up there.

If you enjoy outdoor activities Fayetteville is a great place to visit for a couple of days in the early fall or mid spring.

Fayetteville is terrible and nobody should move here. Especially Texans.

You'll mostly be greeted by indifference, as the transplant population in the metro is so large that pretty much every team we play in any sport has a local fanbase 20 minutes north in Benton County.

I retract my statement. Texicans are preferrable to Californians and in the case of Tyson, Chicagoans (Hillshire).

In all honesty, I like every Louisiana transplant I've ever met. I think they tend to gravitate to Fayetteville-proper. My next door neighbor is one.
