They really should be compared to some Super Bowl champions if we are being honest.

You fricking retards can’t help yourself. LSU might loose 6 games this year I don’t care. I had the most fun watching an LSU game last night since 2019. You all can whine and bitch and moan and jab and try to be provacative. Nobody GAF. I’m having fun watching LSU again.

No it’s to early but this defense after 1 game could be much better.

You, seriously, may very well be the dumbest poster of all time.

Let me guess, you think the Earth is flat.

You can’t really believe what-you just typed. If so seek help. It’s one game. You other university fans are so delusional.

2019 LSU was honestly overrated, got lucky to beat 8-5 Texas and 9-4 Auburn at home

Maybe in defense but not in QB. He needs to be a little taller as hes about like Drew Breeze in size.

Sam Leavitt isn’t comparable to Joe Burrow. Even though LSU destroyed us on the national stage, Burrow was still hella fun to watch.
I think LSU's defense is currently top 3 and their offense is top 10. Clemson is probably worse than we thought. The talent difference between LSU and Clemson players was night and day. Let's wait until LSU plays a team with a pulse, but I’ll tell you this: I’m definitely glad we aren't playing them this year.

The problem with being retarded and trying to troll is that you're still retarded.

Ok, I'm being facetious, but I can't tell you how many times I've seen the Texas fans react to the first game exactly the way the LSU fans are reacting to this one.

What we are reacting too is the MASSIVE change in coaching and culture. There weren't clock management issues. Very few mental errors...especially for Game 1.

It's unclear how LSU's football talent stacks up against the elite teams. It is clear that we won't be out coached or unprepared.

Yes. Probably better than the 85’ Bears too. In short, LSU can’t lose…

LSU 2026 could definitely beat the 85 bears every day of the weeks.

Jim McMahon is 67 years old, Walter Payton sadly passed away years ago. Their O line is in their mid 60’s.

But seriously LSU would man handle the 85 bears on both sides of the ball.
The bears o line was prob around 260 lbs and defense a little bigger. W. The frig P was the only 300 pounder on the team if I remember correctly.

The 80s era teams couldn’t compete with top college teams now. Strength and conditioning alone would kill them 65 plays was an average game. The big guys didn’t have the speed of a modern lineman.

The skill level just isn’t that big of a deciding factor when both your lines will get push around in the trenches. Much less never seeing a RPO offense or HUNH.
