I posted my interest in Iron Bowl lower bowl tickets on the "SEC Tickets" board a couple weeks ago, and have not received any responses. The board does not seem to get much traffic.

This will be my family's first Iron Bowl. Is finding tickets for sale outside the stadium on game day a reasonable possibility? Otherwise, I think we will just buy on StubHub or Seat Geek (and pay the steep tack-on fees).

I will be in Auburn/Opelika beginning Friday afternoon, and available to meet an interested seller in person. Thanks in advance! Geaux Tigers - WDE

Looks like StubHub has uppers starting at $250.

Seat Geek

Seat Geek is the way to go as that is who Auburn partners with this year for secondary ticket sales.

I have found that tickets to the Iron Bowl are usually not all that expensive if you wait to buy them the morning of the game. People make plans for Thanksgiving weekend, and very few people wake up that day and decide to go on a whim.

I would wait until late Friday night to see what prices look like and then buy at that time.

yes there will. That game, the records flat don't matter.
On seatgeek uppers are in the 230 to 300 range and lower bowl are in the 400's up to high 700's.

Thanks for the replies, gentlemen (and ladies). I am hoping for a game whose competitiveness justifies the ticket prices!

Then you might consider going to a different game.

Hi, gents and ladies. I am still looking for three Iron Bowl tickets. I am happy to (and expecting to) pay a premium - I am just looking to avoid the SeatGeek fees (which are running $115-$132 per ticket). I will be in Auburn/Opelika beginning this afternoon, and available to meet an interested seller in person. Thanks in advance! Geaux Tigers - WDE
