Iron Bowl may have been a wake up call, it's likely going to get worse.

I hope I am very wrong about this, but I don't think I am. With all of the sports getting in bed with legalized gambling, corruption is inevitable. Now combine that with NIL money being distributed unevenly, naturally, big names get bigger bucks, and you have a situation where college sports are going to be the first to go.

I don't have a dog in the hunt, but I watched the Iron Bowl yesterday and I saw a team go through a lot of trouble to lose, not that this doesn't happen organically, but that was just plain suspicious. Of course, if someone complains about officiating, people always complain about officiating.

College basketball has always had its issues, because one player can affect the game so much, but I see the confidence in the integrity of sports eroding. I don't know when it will become apparent, likely when the FBI gets tipped off by some kid who didn't get his cut.

There had always been gambling on college sports, but making it legal and adding in the NIL money, the fuse is lit. As I said, I hope I'm wrong, I love college sports, I hate to see what all this money is going to do.

You really think Auburn threw the game away against Alabama on purpose? Really?

Not saying they threw the game, but what did they think was gonna happen when they only rushed 2 players and let Milroe stand back there for 45 seconds till someone got open?

Probably thought they could cover everything with 9 guys in coverage. That’s the idea of prevent defenses.

And after all of that effort. Some people just want to stand out with stupid thoughts and conspiracies because any attention is good attention.

You must not have watched that game if you believe that. Auburn players laid it all out to the last second. No one could ever scheme such a scenario on that last offensive play. This is such a bad take.

Only if they can appoint the officiating crew.

There it is. LSU fans calling for the FBI to investigate Bama is a nice tradition on here.

Try being an SEC ref sometime. Looks easy with 20 HD cameras watching every angle...two eyes and all that's going on, not so much.

We need an IQ test for people to pass before they are allowed to post.
