Yes they fricking do.
They cannot say, "Hey, Death Penalty for LSU because purple and gold is ugly as shite".
They fricking need something. Right now they have nothing on AU.

GO look at auburns offensive line. Tell me if you're a parent of a kid who is "one and done" as should be speculated, you tell me you wouldn't want your kid going to auburn over MSU
Are you really that stupid?
Our LT Sherrod is the #1 projected offensive tackle in the nation
We led the SEC in rushing in 2009
We returned 8 of our 10 on the 2 deep
Why would you not pick State's OL?

You are a complete Moron. I'll say it one more time so slow people like you can understand. MSU reported this in JAN.! and the SEC didn't do anything about it until July. MSU was wondering why the SEC waited so long. MSU is 100% in the clear and Kenny Rogers even backed that along with Ian the guy that just interviewed Kenny. Pay attention Dummy!
Just to help a mentally challenged poster like yourself...Please read again....
The Alleged meeting took place in NOVEMBER 2009....MSU conitnued to recruit Newton up until his choosing Auburn 12/31....MSU in Jan 2010 reported the issue...You get caught up yet Genius? that is 3 months after the request for money....Yep MSU is Fricked.

Exactly. You can't paint Auburn in the light reflected off MSU.

thats not entirely true. its been widely reported that after state reported in january, they (state) claim they were too busy with other stuff to reply back to the sec for additional information requested.
On top of that their reports did not contain the substance of the phone conversations if i read everything right.

I simply cannot believe some of you Auburn fans continuing to have your head in the sand.
I understand supporting your school, but guys, if you can't see by now that the Newtons are shady, you're absolutely oblivious to everything.
The Newtons SOLICITED MONEY for the services of Cam. This is AS BAD AS IT GETS in college football.
I'm assuming this is directed at me. And if you look a few posts above, you'll see where I said this does not protray Cam or his father in a good light. Whether they got anything from AU still remains to be seen.

The agent Bush spurned had receipts and tape recordings for all the crap.
The receipts were just withdrawals.
The case, as I recall, was almost wholly reliant on what the agent said.
I would argue that there is nearly as much evidence here, as with there.
I think the only thing that will keep AU clear will be Slive/Emmert.

This admission, combined with the allegations made previously that Cam himself said to unnamed sources "I wanted to go to MSU but my dad made the choice for Auburn. The money was just too much" doesn't concern you at all?

And that isnt against NCAA rules! You can ask for anything you want!

i dont think it matters where he solicited the money, as long as there's proof that it was done. You can't just ask people for money to play college football. Auburn might not have done anything wrong, other than accidentally playing an ineligible player. Not saying they did, just saying it is a possible scenario at this point.

This reminds me of the O.J. case. Something terribly wrong happened, and everyone knows it.

MSU reported it to the SEC/NCAA. They are fine. No proof that Auburn paid anything - yet. Regardless, Newton could be declared ineligible because of his father's actions whether he knew what was happening or not (yeah - right). Auburn's biggest problem is not sanctions (yet), it's Cecil Newton.

If anyone is acting unconcerned then they're fools.
What we're talkign about now is this recent interview...where auburn was not mentioned.
Personally im scared shitless.

If this guy is willing to go on record with his attorney present, AFTER the Feds are involved, you can bet your life this guy is telling the truth.
The only other possibility is that going to prison is his lifetime dream, so he's lying.
