Louisianans don't need football as an excuse. But then again, we never murdered opposing fans visiting our "fine" cities.
That isn't exactly true:
quote:
A Tuscumbia man pleaded guilty to murder for a shooting over a college football game.
David Fulkerson changed his plea to guilty during a hearing Friday morning.
Court records show a Colbert County judge sentenced him to 20 years in prison.
Fulkerson shot James Merritt in 2019 after a fight over an LSU, Alabama football game.
The gunfire started after an argument over LSU's victory over Alabama.
At the time of the shooting, the Colbert County sheriff said people gathered along Ligson Springs Road to watch the game that night. After LSU defeated Alabama, the sheriff said Fulkerson and Merritt, known as Mikey, got into a fight over the game, and Fulkerson shot Merritt in the head.

That's an altercation, different than outright murder. New Orleans, a wonderful city, unless LSU loses.

You know I haven’t really thought about it but Christmas was the first get together for UGA families since the SEC championship. The family gathered around the table, they asked each other “how’s your family, how’s work, how’s aunt Eunice and uncle Tolbert” and eventually the conversation came full circle and the game was rehashed. Plates began to rattle, voices began to raise, tempers flared, feelings were hurt, excuses were made. It was a whirlwind of emotions.
This is the type of post expected after such a gathering.
This is the place to come to let it all out. Please continue until you finally feel better.
We’re here for you buddy.

I didn’t read all that. But I sensed a lot of pain.

A lot of effort went into this.
Less effort than for you to get a decent bowel movement.

Who knew it would only take one game to break the Dawg fans?

Uga had the opportunity to do the one thing Alabama had never done: win 3 national championships in a row. The failure to one up the Tide must have been very painful.

Do you write rambling manifestos like this to power through the pain of your children and grandkids declining to visit you?
