The same venue the mighty Troy Trojans whooped up on LSU less than 11 months ago. But yeah I mean the new oc will surely turn y'all into contenders.

We have quite a bit more talent, more proven winners, and FAR better coaching. I don't think a day game in br with a half empty stadium by the 4th quarter is much to sweat about. Sue me.

Try winning a NC before you talk this much shite

Thats when it happens.

It's no surprise Saban and his players never remotely say anything like that when playing LSU, even when they are clearly better.

The fact is, LSU is 1 English speaking HC and 1 above average QB from winning it all.

We were beating y'all like the trashy program y'all are until saban got there. From the BCS era. it was easy win after win

I think LSU gets it done against either Bama or UGA this year.

It’s all going to depend on our passing game. If Burrow is decent, we could very well beat one (or even both). If Burrow isn’t any better than Etling, we will lose 1 for sure and probably both.

I expect a double digit win. Not sure the definition of comfortable. We could be up by 7 with 3 minutes left and kick a FG to ice it. Not super comfortable but a double digit win. I just don't don't see this LSU team staying within 10 of us.
My guess is that you are very young. I can see how you might think that, but I'm sure you never dreamed AU would smoke you 40-17 last year. And AU never dreamed you would choke them 28-7 2 weeks later. Just saying that in college football you never know what will happen, especially when you are playing another big-time program on the road, even if they are down a bit. You just don't know.

Tiger stadium is not that big of a deal. The fans are a holes and its loud but we get loud everywhere we play. It comes down to the players on the field. Auburns every bit as loud when we play there. That 1989 iron bowl, to this day I've never heard a place like that. It literally hurt to sit in that stadium.

Uh huh, yeah
The record certainly bares that out

Do you think we'll get to 11 like Bear did? I don't see why not

If they weren't lead by Yaw Yaw, I could understand where you're coming from.

Not really, a stadium can't win a game by itself. Alabama has had a lot of great teams and got a few lucky breaks.

It hasn’t been just great Bama teams. Between Bryant and Saban, Bama lost a total of 3 games at LSU.

Ray Perkins was 1-0-1
Bill Curry was 2-0
Gene Stallings was 4-0
Mike DuBose was 1-1
Dennis Franchione was 1-0
Mike Shula was 0-2

Really weird thing is that LSU had nearly the same level of success @Bama in that same time span.

You must have been born this century.

Alabama lost 3 games in BR between Bryant and Saban.

Edited to add - the overall series record in that time span was 12-11-1 in favor of Alabama.

It really is.

If either team was in the other division, this game would be called "The Atlanta Classic" or something like that.

You could make an argument for LSU being the second best SEC program of all time.

What sucks for us is our two greatest coaches walked the sidelines the exact same time as Bama's two greatest coaches.

Nothing but begrudging respect for Bama.

Nothing but hate for Aubie.

frick Aubie. Dirty cheats.

Which the first was with Saban in 2000.

30 years between that and the last victory in BR.

We rushed the field that night.

Forgive my ignorance here bro but how is it that you have seen this LSU team when none of the rest of us have? I

Guess we better hold our horses on vandy this yeah since we ahven't seen them right? Don't pencil in bama for even being a top 20 team just yet, I mean we still haven't seen them. You can have a general understanding of a team before season. I think we are 1+ touchdown better than LSU. That's not absurd.

quote:

they have slipped a bit and have a moron for a coach

True, while we are rising fast and have a terrific all around staff coming off a title appearance

quote:

they will have an elite defense and enough offensive talent to make it interesting.

I'm sure they will have a good defense like they always do. Their offense has been lousy of late though.

quote:

You are talking about them like they are Ole Miss or something.

because I said we will win by a TD and a FG? 10 points is talkign like they're ole miss? Ok..

quote:

Is Georgia unleashing a secret weapon we don't know about or are you generally this cocky?

not sure why you are so personally offended that I think we'll win by 10 points. It's strange.

quote:

Don't underestimate a coach like O

didn't you just call him a moron? Which is it?

quote:

You may show up and beat them by three scores and take a mercy knee with three minutes left.

maybe but that's not what I said. You can run with that if you like.

quote:

Ed Orgeron is their head coach so it wouldn't surprise me.

Dude make up your mind FFS. Is he a moron, or should I not underestimate him, or have I overrated him?

From Bear's last year to the Game of the Century, the series record was 15-15-1.

Anyone notice the margin of victory for Alabama in TS goes up every time they play there?
