Um, WV borders KY and VA borders TN/KY.

Miami to the Big 12?

Maybe a smart move to cash in on their brand name before their lack of emphasis on football makes them a has-been.

in tha lyricz of tha playa I kicked it wit wit last week whoz arse holla'd at mah crazy arse of tha Uptown Carolina ta tha SEC rumors last week, afta rappin' wit his arse over tha phone dis evening.

Said Virginia ta tha Big 10 be a thugged-out done deal, as if Uptown Carolina ta tha SEC, as is FSU/Clemson & Miami ta tha Big 12 & da perved-out muthafricka suspects Louisville & NCstate like a muthafricka fo' realz. All of these thangs we've been hearin bout lately, they mo' than coincidence, tha SEC releasin deetz bout tha upcomin network afta tha tournament, last weekz quotes from Floridaz prez, I axed his arse if there was anythang ta a shitload of Maryland/ACC exit fees startin ta leak up & da perved-out muthafricka holla'd, "probably" yo. Dude hadn't heard but wasn't surprised wit tha way every last muthafrickin thang is linin up.

& tha Big 12/ACC schedulin alliance, itz a smokescreen. I aint talkin' bout chicken n' gravy biatch. Da same stupid-arse thang apparently happened back durin tha formation of tha original gangsta Big 12. Where tha original gangsta Big 8 had talkz of a schedulin agreement wit tha Southwest Conference just before they merged together, well a shitload of dem anyways.

I axed on some read on whoz arse 16 would be wit tha SEC & tha Big 10, & ultimately 15 & 16 wit tha Big 12, da ruffneck didn't straight-up know yet. Da Big 10 wants GTech but not ta rule up Duke either, dependin on what tha frick happens wit tha SEC. UNC wants Duke at 16 but tha SEC, whoz basically freestyled off Virginia, wants Virginia Tech, soundz like some posturin & negotiatin n' aint a thugged-out damn thang dat yo' arse can do.

Da Big 12, well itz tha usual scenarios. If tha SEC grabs UNC & VTech, Duke could be up fo' grabs if tha Big 10 was ta take GTech. If tha SEC takes Duke wit UNC then tha Big 10 will most certainly take GTech & itz VT ta tha Big 12, or if UNC goes ta tha SEC wit VT & tha Big 10 moves on Duke wit Virginia then GT landz up in tha Big 12, just a funky-arse big-arse puzzle there straight-up.

But Uptown Carolina ta tha SEC, Virginia ta tha Big 10 & FSU, Clemson, Miami & ta a lesser extent Louisville & NCstate ta tha Big 12 sound all but locked in, accordin ta his arse anyways & I take his frickin lyrics pretty seriously.

Interesting that in your map. it looks like the Texas panhandle and draw a line straight across and you get the SEC states all under the line. we add NC next to fit the trend.

UNC/Duke are 100% a package deal.

And you have to bring more concrete rumors to the table...

Miami has a problem many schools do not...it's a pro town through and through. If the Canes aren't doing well very few care. Plus there are are a ton of activities outside of sports. If the University decided to do away with the athletic department, in a decade I rather doubt anyone would notice.

Every Miami grad I've met loathes the football program and would willingly abolish the entire Athletic Dept. just to get rid of football. Its not that big of a sample size, only five, but they're all pretty passionate on the subject.
