They are all more or less the same at this point. Have been to almost every school and enjoyed them all.

From a purely objective opinion I think Auburn and LSU are my favorites.

Should be a rule to be on a list like this you have to actually fill up your stadium.

For real lol.

UNC tailgates aren't awful, so their ranking is at least arguable. Still inferior to State and ECU, though.

Duke, on the other hand, doesn't deserve to be anywhere near the top 50

This list is written by a pretty good looking Volleyball chick that went to Wake Forest.

You know she's probably never been to most of these spots. It purely just another list based on other people's opinions & her limited view.

I've been there on gameday. However, we had no idea if it was gameday or not based on the activities on campus (even near the shitty little stadium).

I actually prefer UNC Tailgates to NC State and ECU.

ECU reminds me of Coastal Carolina light and NC State is lame.

Arkansas is hampered by the fact that we've shoe horned our stadium into the mountains. There really isn't enough room to have a big tailgate going. Hell there isn't really enough room for everyone to park.

Little Rock has more room to spread out and have a good time... but if you walk a block away from the stadium you are in an urban war zone.

A&M has the opposite problem. We have too much room for tailgating so its all spread out over a giant campus.

We have gameday tailgating eats of Kyle, north of Kyle, in west campus by the Rec, Reed Arena, Olsen Field, by the business schools, north of the student center, and all the way across campus by the engineering buildings. If we could find a way to condense that it would be legendary.

Have you heard any updates on the Spence park lake/tailgating renovation?

I have never seen anything like it

We played A&M my junior year, so after practice the day before, we decided to walk from the Tennis courts to the football stadium as it looked fairly close

Holy frick . That was a mirage. Being that big and wide open like a desert made everything seem closer than it was. That was one hot arse hike. Had to be at least a mile each way. Looked like it was just a stones throw

That's probably 3/4s a mile easy. Maybe a mile, like you said.

I actually have not. I was wondering about it the other day. It had a big grassroots push.

NC State is equally as bad as the other two. Never been to ECU so I can't speak to that one.

I just google mapped it

Said it is 1.2 miles walking

Here is a picture of it standing at the tennis courts from google maps. I swear it felt like it was right there. 10 minutes into our walk we were like "WTF. Is this stadium moving away from us?"

Haven't been to ECU, but agree with UNC. Their in game atmosphere sucks, but great campus to tailgate.

Same thing happened to me in Vegas. We wanted to go to the Palms. They were having some adult film awards ceremony so we figured the people watching would be top notch. We made it to Rio and had to stop.

South Carolina second is pretty high. The redevelopment of the farmers market and the availability of land on the fairgrounds makes the entire area usable. It just always seemed more like a Nascar scene than a college football game, and there isn't a college around. Columbia has the worst heat index in the country (WB is only 199' above sea level and over 100 miles from the coast )and there are literally no trees, so you better bring plenty of tents and beer, and most do.
