Thanks. Was really pulling for Auburn and Tenner since y’all were on the other side of the bracket. I figured both would make good runs with the draws they got

Agree, I really thought Arky had a chance to go all the way.

It was a lot of fun. And dammit as much as I hate to say it, Duke was just better than us.

Y’all had a great season too.

Let’s both do great next year again. I just wish it wasn’t so far away.

Hope you can hang on to your coach. He will probably be at the top of a lot of lists.

Eric would only leave for a western NBA job. He'd entertain UCLA as well, but we are in great hands with Mick Cronin.

Eric doesn’t want back in the NBA unless it’s with a loaded team which won’t happen.

He turned down his dream job last year to stay (Arizona).

His wife and daughter don’t want to leave Fayetteville. Wife is basically the Queen of NWA and daughter has great friends and loves everything about the area. He will get another raise and isn’t going anywhere.

There's always a better job out there. He loves the West Coast. His mom is there, sister, his son goes to school out there, and he's pushing 60, so that stuff is probably weighing heavier on him than it would if he were 40. Unless a higher profile West Coast job, or a blue blood comes calling, I do agree that he probably isn't going anywhere for awhile. A championship can be won here, and he'll get all the support he wants from the administration. Mike Anderson got a practice facility built without ever getting out of the first weekend in March. He's getting interest and commitments from top recruits, as well. #2 class coming in, potentially #1 if Black chooses Arkansas.

Again, I talked with his former college roomate that lives in Sarasota, FL (Muss always goes to visit him after the season as his family still has a house down this way) after the LSU game in Tampa.

His sister lives in Texas not Cali. Who knows where his son will go when he finishes college

His former roomate and good friend is the one that told me Muss turned down his DREAM job last year. Arizona is a blue blood (top 8 program all time). He is the one that told me Muss doesn’t want back in the NBA. He is the one that told me about his daughter and wife not wanting to leave. His daughter will graduate HS from Fayetteville.

I consider the guy to be a great source

Yes. Basketball is hard and no mulligans like football. Every step is earned. Arky had a great season and should feel great about where the program is.

Hopefully the dude is right about all that. I wouldn't be surprised if he is here for awhile, but also wouldn't be surprised if he were to leave out West. Either way, I'll enjoy the ride while he's here.

I’m sure you talk to a lot of “connected” people as a gardener down in Naples, but this statement just exposes you as a know-nothing.

I wish I was a Gardner. Would be a stress free job.

This wasn’t in Naples. If you can read (obvious you can’t) I said it was after the SECT game against LSU in Tampa.

This link is a few years old but Arizona only helped their cause with a sweet 16 this year

Regardless the point is Musselman turned down his dream job to stay at Arkansas. Speaks volumes

That doesn’t make Arizona a Blue Blood, nor a Top 8 program historically.

Also, I think it was really nice of your boss to drive your arse out to XNA to greet fellow midget Musselman. All that gardening/general help has clearly paid off, buddy!

Haven’t been to XNA since football season.

Find is hilarious you try to hate on Muss size yet he played Division 1 basketball. Something you nor Regular season Rick did

Carry on. Good luck next year. We all know what happens

The good thing is there are only two jobs out west that are better than Arkansas (UCLA and Arizona), and neither should be making coaching changes for a while.

Cronin has done extremely well. The tourney run last year from play-in was an eye opener.

Hope he stays in place for a while. With Muss, we'll butt heads eventually like we did in the 90s.
