That's two drives totaling 1:25 to Alabama's 17:40.

The defense just wore down late in the 3rd quarter and couldn't recover.

Showed on the runs by Hurts late in the game, including the TD run

Our Defense played lights out.

We just couldn't move on Bama's insane D.

No excuses, we just got beat by a sick team.

Sometimes in football you have to tip your hat and move on.

Sometimes the only excuse is you got beat by a great team, which is what happened.

LSU went 3 and out almost every drive in the game.

Once Alabama actually began generating first downs in the 2nd half it was GG.

Would have been the perfect time to bust out that secret playbook.

LSU was owning time of possession to that point. No defense is going to keep up the intensity when the TOP goes that out of whack. They still played well as a tired crew.

It was a great game. Stressful but great I love defensive games that are well played.

LSU's defense was its best chance to score, and they couldn't, the end.

Maybe if LSU's defense had been on the field more than 11 minutes in the 1st H, they could have avoided a shutout.

According to LSU fans, it was dynamic, amazing, awesome, and was going to score 30+ on us.

Not sure what your excuse is.

According to a few of the loudest ones but that doesn't mean the whole fan base said that.

This wasn't your narrative in another thread where you said LSU would run all over Auburn if the 2 teams played again. Which is it, your offense sucks or your offense is the best ever since LSU fired Miles?

That drive toward the end by Alabama was ridiculous. Burned almost 10 minutes off the clock.

Yeah. That was a thing of beauty. It was a bummer too, because Hurts was a non-factor running or throwing all game, but even the best defense ever is going to have holes when they are on the field so long in the second half against the best team in the country.

I came out of that game with a lot of respect for LSU's D and Aranda. They were great. 2nd best defense in the country.
