I'm just so surprised that burrow has moved from a potential day 3 or Udfa draft stock, to 1st overall on the most well respected website there is for statistical based analysis and on other sites

Do you know what objectively means?

Seems to me that the Heisman race out to be Burrow vs Alabama receivers

The guys behind the most explosive passing offense per SEC StatCat vs the most efficient thrower.

Everyone knows that Tua can only throw a 9 yrd slant or drag round. He counts on the receiver’s YAC

I don’t think you do. Tua has been at this level for a year and a half as a full starter. Burrow has 6 games. If you can’t see the difference you’re probably a LSU fan .

You know that’s funny because LSU fans seem to have a terrible memory of that td pass over delpit last year. Was that a slant?

Playing well? His completion % is ridiculous right now.

That’s called an exception, not the rule.

And it didn’t drop after we played an (allegedly) top 10 defense...

It went up

Defenses against Alabama have to either defend the long ball (very quick scores and if we're being honest, Tua has proven he can throw an accurate deep ball despite what I want to see) or the slants. Or even the run or wide screens.

It's damn near impossible to defend either long or slanty unless you can get elite pressure like Clemson did last year. This year, I don't know of a single defense except maybe Georgia's or possibly Florida's that can do that. To be truthful, Florida didn't get to Burrow much, so I'm kind of in doubt.

As much as I'd like to believe (and I do love a good Bama trolling), Tua is one of the three (Burrow, Tua, Jalen) who will win the Heisman (and no one else). It could be any one of these guys at this point.

If fields does what he has been doing against Wisconsin and Penn state he will shoot up there

And tua isn’t? You can argue burrow has better numbers right now but it’s very similar. So to say objectively better is laughable.

Fields for sure. Also, if he rips up Ohio State 2x, Wisky is undefeated and wins the B1G and he starts getting close to some records then Taylor is going to start getting a lot of helium.

QB fatigue and a legitimate alternative.
