Why would Dyer's family dislike Nutt? what has Nutt ever done to them? Dyer's family is Little Rock police. That department was not anti-Nutt from the longtime cops down there that I know and have talked sports with. Remember, he and his family are/was from Little Rock and have a good relationship with LIttle rock. Nutt recently donated some money to LR central high's upgrading of facilities.

If Kniles ankle would have broken that easy Petrino needs to recruit players that won't break down so easily. he had 2 previous breaks in highschool. BUST.

I just think it's a good place for Dyer and if I see him I'm gonna tell him why. The women look better than Arkansas, the town is nicer, the coach is more proven and he'll develop that relationship. TN and Aub I never thought were serious candidates. Petrino should have already developed the relationship.

DCReb you need to stay out of my business.

Dyer did not want to be a Hog because Nutt was a coach...Do your research...

He committed to the Hogs prior to breaking his ankle...He's practicing now and it is fine...Remember Devin Thomas? Did you want Nutt not to bring him in? Davis was going to get 5* consideration based on "expert evals"...

Don't pump up Oxford when:
1) you don't know the legal drinking age in MS
2) You don't know where to find women in Oxford
3) Have no idea about the town at all

Get Nutt's dick out of your mouth and look at all the facts

Nutt has a better track record of developing heathly tailbacks. All of Petrino's has been injured and missed considerable time except wingo. Will he make it to Missouri state without going down? Doubtful.

Ole Miss is also recruiting better players. Ole Miss also has a coach that develops relationships with players. If he didn't want to play for Nutt when he was a sophomore who knows why. It doesn't make sense b/c he's the perfect fit for Nutt's system. But alot has changed since then. Now that the new Arkansas coach doesn't recruit much in state and doesn't believe in developing the relationshps like Dyer likes he'll go VISIT a place that does. Darren Mcfadden will call Dyer and say, "go play for this man" LINK :

you're retarded...really

So your saying Nutt didn't try to recruit "better players" at Arky...Him and PAPA made excuses on our "potential" and we should just be happy to be in the SEC...

You know nothing...DMAC is a man and will say be a Razorback...501 Boy!

So...all of the other "in-state" special players...how many BCS offers do they have? How many offers not Arky Lite or Tulsa? Based on your logic, Petrino should just offer because they are in-state...

Despite Nutt's running offense, he has only put two running backs in the NFL in his career.

Yeah, he's a hell of a developer.

I'll give him 4 to his credit...but 3 were on one team and he couldn't win with them...

I'm not trying to Bash Nutt in this...WRT knows nothing of Petrino except for he is now the Arky coach and has to pull for OM, only because of his man-love for Nutt...It really is embarrassing

Who was the 1st one? Just didn't really follow Arky's players until the past few years.

Cedric Cobbs...His biggest problem was Decker, which we've already hashed through...

Giving him Cobbs and his 9 career NFL rushing yards?

Generous.

I agree...but he did go under his regime. Again, allowing Decker to mass him up like that was crazy...He could have been a decent back in the league

Jackie Sherrill started to rely heavily on Jucos during his later years IIRC.

Not really. He always used them especially in the beginning when a JUCO only had to do 3 semesters and could be there for the spring.

If I'm not mistaken, Spurrier didn't like this so he complained to the SEC and a rule was passed that JUCO's had to complete 4 semesters and have a 2.0 before transferring.

Cobbs overacheived at Arkansas as do alot of Nutt's players. That's why alot get drafted high and turn out to be busts. B/c they are misevaluated. Matt Jones, Mcfadden, Felix, Ahmad Carrol, who else had a great Arkansas career but bombed in the NFL? He gets more out of players than the NFL does and that's why he's so great.

So basically, Nutt doesn't prepare them for the league? Thanks for being our puppet

Outside of DMac and Shawn Andrews, Cobbs is the biggest genetic freak Arkansas has seen in the last 20 years.

He was unbelievable until Decker decided to put 25 pounds on an already developed athlete. Even Nutt, who NEVER admits fault on anything, talked about how they should have never tried to bulk him up.
