Auburn's recruiting class sort of sucks balls right now as well. At least compared to the top SEC teams.

1.They signed a ton of kids last year.
2.Nutt has always sucked at recruiting.

All the more reason there is absolutely NO excuse for NOT beating them by 4 touchdowns year in and year out, much less LOSING to them.

They signed 38 players last year!

I would imagine some of those guys end up being sign and place guys from the past year that will carry over to this year (later in the process), but that is just using some logic.

Nutt isn't a good recruiter. Which is why this is the last year they have a chance of winning the SEC.

What's laughable is anyone getting out-recruited by Washington. UW is at 13 on that list, coming off an 0-12 season.

You fellas do realize the rankings will look much different in December than they do now. Some of those 5 stars will be three stars, and vice versa. Some of those players that commited to one school will have changed their mind three times.

One of Petrino's big things is that he hates to miss out on kids that blow up their senior year. So he always saves some spots for those type of kids. All the guys we have committed right now were at or near the top of Petrino's wish list. And, bottom line, a lot of the Arkansas kids are never going to be rated like a kid from Alabama, Georgia, etc. But if Petrino likes them, I trust him. He's shown he is a top-flight talent evaluator.

Also - unless we have some more attrition we only have room for 18-20 signees. So, we may be more than half full as it is.

And for Nutt, well, who is surprised? He got lucky last year with the big year and all the turnover at schools he was recruiting against. If he shits the bed on the field this year, he might not even sign a top 50 class.

If we shite the bed we might not sign a top 40 class.
We'll probably end up in the 25-35 range.

It's too early to tell right now.

The only thing we know is that LSU, FL and Bama will likely have very strong classes, as usual.

This never happens. The reverse happens but it is rare. More common is a boost from 3 to 4 and 4 to 5 (but the latter is also rare).
