Joe Burrow was/is a truly amazing quarterback and LSU was fortunate to have the magical year they had with him. Unfortunately they’ll never have a season close to that again, but at least they have the memories.
Fortunately for Bama they are winning a championship every 2 to 3 years regardless of who is at quarterback. And the very next year (2020) had a season that equaled (some might say eclipsed) LSU’s miracle year!
But
to Burrow. Gave these cajun hicks in redstick a season they can tell their grandchildren about one day and got the hell out of there to go back to Ohio.

Good Auburn teams were a long time ago too. Plus, their blue is awesome. Sissy blue shirts are meaningless for this one.
