I'm under the impression that Nate Oats didn't have all the facts.

After the encounter, the suspects walked to a nearby parking lot around 1:40 a.m. Around the same time according to text messages shown in court, Miles texted Miller, "I need my joint a n****r rl jus got fakin".
There's no way that Nate Oats could have known about this text message and not immediately suspend Miller even if he wasn't being charged.
After this info was released yesterday I don't think we see Miller play another game for Alabama.

I’m under the impression that Nate Oats doesn’t care about anything other than winning.
His tone deaf interview and no player discipline to this point pretty much confirm that.

What? You think the biggest shite bag in college basketball wouldn't have acted like a shite bag? Where do you people come from?

He will kill his career if he trots that dude out tonight.
Probably too late honestly. Dude is an idiot. Should have suspended them at time of incident for further investigation at minimum.

Well what I think happened is that Miller called up NATE and said “hey coach it turns out my brother Darius needs a joint because a ninja rl just became fakin” to which NATE likely responded “ong” so it’s pretty clear NATE did everything he could

What does that text message mean to you?

It means Miles didn’t just say “Hey I left my gun in your car. Can you bring it?” He expressed intent to use it.

The police said, other players were there but there weren't any charges to be brought against them. They were WITNESSES. I know reading is hard for some people, but damn, this board is full of them.

Players get suspended for missing class, having alcohol on campus, bad grades, failing a drug test, mouthing off to a coach, etc. The reaction to Bama fans saying, “Well they aren’t charging him, so why would they suspend him?”
Dude was directly involved in a shooting which cost a life. Players are suspended or kicked off the team for far less all the damn time. It doesn’t have to be a technical “criminal act” for a student/player to be suspended.
The outrage is stemming from the blatant refusal of UA/Oats to suspend a player for such conduct. I think we all know why they have doubled down and refused to take any action… but it’s pathetic.

I’ve read this translated roughly as “I need my gun, someone is pissing me off.”

I’m sorry, you’re interpreting jibberish to mean Miller took a gun he owned to a guy who was going to shoot someone who made a statement about wanting something that wasn’t Miller’s?

Miller delivered the murder weapon and Miller/Bradley blocked the victim’s car. Technically, it was a hit job.
Oatmeal doesn’t care. He recruits scum like Primo, Miles, Miller, Bradley, he really doesn’t care.
