I'm sure Texas and Bama disagree, but from a neutral standpoint, these late games have

been poop.
Was hoping one would give us a good finish.

If Texas rolls Oregon in the supers, I'll almost take solace in that we gave Texas the biggest fits on their way to Omaha.

Meh. You guys said the same thing about the CFP championship game in Jan. 2023.

The hell with that… I want Texas to make the entire thing boring as hell for everyone not named Texas.

Yeah see, this was in my subject line:I'm sure Texas and Bama disagree,
See, I kind of felt if you were pulling for those teams you were quite happy with blowouts. Had a bead on that.

I agree. Eastern time here and the 9th inning has been at midnight and when we went into extras the other day, it was 1am on a week day.

An 8 run win is a good finish.

I think we’re all just genuinely curious why your autistic arse felt the need to make this pointless thread.

If everything holds as it appears, one entire side of the bracket in omaha will be SEC teams. Ole Miss has to be happy with their side of the bracket right now.

I guess the same way I wonder why your obsessed asses keep clicking on it, responding to it and keeping it on the front page.

Yeah, they won the lottery.
Texas has been quietly playing good baseball so far. Not hearing as much talk about them as other teams. Your pitching staff goes well with that ballpark in Omaha.

He’s saying as a baseball fan, he would’ve like to have seen an exciting finish. He is sure Bama and Texas fans disagree, because you always want to see your team win handily. It’s a forum for discussion. I like my team to blowout teams. I also like to watch exciting finishes as a fan. I hope this explained it.

yeah but the thought of playing Georgia game one doesn't feel great. I think the winner of that game wins our side of the bracket.
I still say it's Georgia's to lose. Of course you have to get past a really good MSU team first. Same as us with Oregon.

I thought it was pretty obvious it was not a dig at Texas, nor Alabama. Actually, almost the opposite. And unlike football, I wouldn't have been overly rejoicing either team's loss had their games turned out that way. Just would've been nice to see competitive games. But, this places does what it likes to do.
Hoping UGA can win big today and not be as entertaining in a win if so fortunate for it to happen. But would certainly understand those not wanting to see a UGA blowout.

No shite. Like I said, it’s just pointless stream of consciousness material for a thread.

You say “no shite”, but complain about a guy making a thread about wanting to see some exciting finishes. Its a sports forum. You post regular topics like you would talk at work. 90% of the rant just wants to try and shite on every post. I’ll read any post thats not about Lane, LSU/Ole Miss, Tennessee’s small field, or any post that the paid actor WillyT post. Try and enjoy yourself some instead of being angry.

The pitching staff had better get their control issues fixed

Site traffic. Start a dumbass post so people will reply. It worked.

Worked out really nicely for Ole Miss. UNC is really good but they aren't necessarily an offensive juggernaut. They're certainly beatable. Win that game and you face a team playing in its first ever CWS.
Alabama is catching a break in their first CWS game (assuming they finish off St Johns). Kansas is good and OU at the moment is as hot as any team in the country but both are beatable. I don't think Alabama would have had the bats or pitching to keep up with Georgia Tech had they made to Omaha.
I don't have much confidence against the UGA/Texas winner if Alabama is somehow able to get past OU in their first game. Texas pitching shut us down in our regular season series and their bats are heating up to to go along with their pitching. Even less confidence against Georgia who I don't think we can keep up with
