Lots of truth here.

I would buy but they went to Oregon and won and beat Ohio State. They really do remind me of that 2008/2009 Alabama teams that had some good talent but had not reached the levels of recruiting they did soon after. Indiana just has a much better QB than JPW and Greg McElroy. They place amazing team ball and do not make many mistakes.

They’ve beat both Ohio State and Oregon. Both teams have great QBs and top 5 composite talent
I look for some of y’all to disappear from this forum after Thursday evening.

19/22 starters are juniors/seniors.
10 senior starters
9 junior starters
2 sophomore starters
1 freshman starter
Holy turnover next year.

Indiana should forfeit.
No, but you should learn to spell. Navy is capitalized.

There's a difference between winning against a slate of highly talented opponents and winning 2-3 games against talented opponents with most of the schedule being low talent.
Boise State had a lot of seasons where they won an OOC game, a bowl game or both against more talented teams... but still lost in their conference schedule.
The reason isn't rocket science. It's easy if you have few marquis games to get up for 1 or 2 spread out over a season. It's much harder to consistently perform at an elite level every weak because nearly every team has elite talent.
In the Big 10, PSU, OSU, Michigan, SC and Oregon have elite talent (more than 40 blue chips on the roster). Nebraska has borderline talent (30-40) blue hips on the roster. UCLA and Wisconsin have mid-lower end talent (20-30 blue chips) Everyone else is below 20 blue chips... low talent teams.
In the SEC you have UGA, Bama, Texas, OU, A&M, Auburn, Tennessee and Florida with elite talent. Ole Miss, South Carolina and Mizzou are borderline. Arkansas, MSU and UK is lower end (20-30 blue chips). Only Vandy is below 20 blue chips (12).
Indiana played OSU, Oregon and PSU (who they only beat by 3 despite PSU sucking... because of the talent differential). They also played UCLA and Wisconsin with mid-lower tier talent (20-30 blue chips).
ODU, Kennesaw State, Indiana State, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan State, Maryland and Purdue... they're all low talent teams (less than 20 blue chip players).
Not only that they only had one 2-game stretch against teams with more than 20 blue chips... PSU followed by WIsconsin. Every other team with even a modicum of talent was surrounded by low talent opponents.
This is why I lack trust in Indiana to advance far in the playoff. They could win 1 game... but I can't see more than that and I'm picking Bama to beat them.
Bama on the other hand... every single one of their games against teams with 20 or more blue chips was either followed or preceded by a game against a team with 20 or more blue chips. (except FSU which was the first game of the season which has it's own pitfalls)
This was their schedule
FSU - 37 blue chips
UL Monroe - 3 blue chips
Wisconsin - 26 blue chips
UGA - 70 blue chips
Vandy - 12 blue chips
Mizzou - 34 blue chips
Tennessee - 47 blue chips
Scar - 39 blue chips
LSU - 62 blue chips
OU - 51 blue chips
E. Illinois - I assume 0 blue chips
Auburn - 46 blue chips
UGA - 70 blue chips
OU - 51 blue chips
Compare that to Indiana:
ODU - 1 blue chip
Kennesaw State - 2 blue chip
Indiana State - I assume 0 blue chips
Illinois - 7 blue chips
Iowa - 13 blue chips
Oregon - 58 blue chips
Michigan State - 19 blue chips
UCLA - 25 blue chips
Maryland - 17 blue chips
PSU - 62 blue chips
Wisconsin - 26 blue chips
Purdue - 13 blue chips
OSU - 67 blue chips
Alabama has 64 blue chips. Indiana has 7. Yes, a lower talent team like Vandy or Indiana can be coached up and prepped for big games. But they aren't going to win a national title.

You also thought Brian Kelly was a great pick.

BK is a good coach, just didn't work out.
Some folks say he didn't put in the work, who knows?
