I'm so glad the last 5 years put us #1 nationally in most AP Titles

The whole piss and moan debate about how many national titles Alabama had, how we really didn't have all that many, etc etc made me want to jump off a bridge. And, not because those people were even wrong, but because the issue was such a damn firecracker to people (and rivals knew that).
Now the response is just easily "Don't really care, we have the most AP ones so sure, 1942 is bullsh*t, sure". So much easier than arguing for the Rose Bowls, acknowledging 1942 is crap and dealing with the back-dating of titles.
This has been deep thoughts with SOG.

pretty crazy that alabama only had 6 ap titles before 2009.

And have won 1 of the 2 CFP titles
