I won't agree to something because of how you'll perceive my reason. It depends on the period of time, but I don't think you could say LSU is on par with MSU using any arbitrary period.
I'll hear arguments for other programs. Auburn and LSU is a decent comparison, as would be UF and Georgia if we are extending to the east.

Not sure what's worse. The posters that believe this isn't satire or the ones that actually agree with the sentiment.
Of course LSU fans recognize the historic run Bama is having. Saban is accomplishing Bear Bryant success in a fraction of the time. It's a sports forum. Trash talking is half the fun. Every once in a while there's even a substantive thread or two.
Is LSU unhappy about losing the captain of their D who is a Top 10 NFL pick (per Kiper)? Of course we are. Are we venting and even over the top about it? It's a fricking sports board!
Bama has the best offense they've had since Saban was named HC. I don't think anyone beats them or even comes close. That doesn't mean it won't happen and I'm not going to concede until it's over.
Here's to an injury free, hard fought game Bama faithful.
