UGA fans have been chirping quite a bit about Mullen the last few weeks. Don't be a lazy arse; scroll through a few pages and you'll see. In the time you took to repost your lazy request, you could've seen it for yourself.

why even bring up "streaks" then if it wasn't mentioned? I wouldn't just randomly interject "well the sky isn't magenta today" out of nowhere which is essentially what you did.

I'm not the one that made the claim. If I said "ibldprplgld sure has been making a lot of homosexual threads lately" wouldn't the onus be on me to actually prove it? Or I coudl just say "don't be lazy, you can go find them yourself"

see how this works

I wanted to clarify that 1 isn't a streak and the Gators have nothing to worry about, so KMA!

but 21 of 28 is kind of a streak but not a row.

If you care enough to either prove or disprove it, the onus is on you. You seem to care whether or not his statement is true. Look it up for yourself. Unless you've been living under a rock, you'd know UGA fans have been posting quite a bit about Mullen recently.

They scared that UF under Mullen will return to the one sided domination by the Gators of the last 3 decades.

We haven't received the annual sunshine pumping talking points yet. We're not sure how to proceed until we get those lol

This isn't Steve Spurrier's UF vs. 90s UGA anymore.

I don't think either UGA or UF is going to run away with the series over the next few years. I think UGA fans were comfortable with the obvious disparity in coaching talent between Smart and butter teeth.

Now that Mullen is at UF, I think a lot of that comfort has dissipated. Hence the reason they're being chirpy about him.

I know it's not true, forgive me for calling someone out on blatant lies. That's kind of how the world works ya know...someone makes a clearly false claim, someone calls them out on it. It's up to that person to back their shite up.

Since you're so positive that within the last couple pages there have been "frequent" (OP's words) started by UGA fans obssessing over Mullen seems like it shouldn't take you long.

But just for fun I did go back a week's worth (six pages) and only found 2 threads started by a UGA fan about mullen; both by the same poster, only 1 of which was real (the other was clearly nonsense, as he is prone to do). And it was asking how long mullen will get, which seems like normal conversation rather than obsession.

Sooooo 1 thread of the last 150 (25 threads per page). Hardly frequent.

We're just chirpy in general. We didn't get a chance to be chirpy about McElwain. They fired him like 12 hours after UGA beat him.

Agreed, but it works both was as there was an equal (actually far more at times) disparity between spurrier against goff/donnan and meyer vs richt. They trumpet "21 of 28" so much while 16 of those were with big disparities too. Honestly that's irrelevant to me though, the games all count just the same.

I mean let's not forget mullen just had a top 3 MSU squad of his tenure with one of his best players of his tenure and lost 31-3 to kirby last year.

I think the overall mindset of our fanbase boils down to, yes UF is gonna start being a lot better than they have been of late, but they're not gonna be anwyhere near those spurrier/meyer teams either.

It is entertaining to see UG fans coming out of the wood work after 3 decades of beat downs at the hands of Gator teams, and this was with wins under some pretty bad Gator coaches, not just some of the best in Spurrier and Meyer. I can see their concern with UF getting a competent coach. History has proven that when UF has a good coach, they win more than often against UG.

what about spurrier beating up on goff and donnan?

We understand it won't be a walk in the park, but it's not like mullen is some transcendent terror we should cower to

history means nothing. Kirby has been at UGA 2 years and mullen hasn't coached a game yet at UF. I think any impartial observer with eyes and a brain can see which of the 2 team is in better shape at the moment and which is on the better trajectory.
