You have more blue chippers than every team that kicked your arse. No, not an SEC problem. So no one is talented, the problem is a lack of talent at OU, hmm.

Unfortunately, you’re correct. Idk. Obviously there are positions that can determine a game. I’m not sure how they fumbled this one. Maybe the 20 times I guess lol

No troll, your program and fanbase are going to have to adjust to the SEC.

Thats your problem.

Your team this year is a 9 win team in the Big 12.

at's the thing, the sec is down and ya'll are still 1-5. Missouri had a similar first year but we played 5 top 10 teams and then won our division the next 2 years. we tried to warn ya'll

We both know that’s not accurate. Of course the SEC is the best conference but come on. Oklahoma typically has a very prolific offense. I’m pretty sure the OU UGA game proved that. I’m very surprised that Arnold won all of his awards. He’s good but not 5*

You had two conference losses last year and five so far this year maybe it's time to recognize the SEC might be playing a part here

Oklahoma isn't going to suffer like the Nubs have in the B1G. You all will clearlyhave to adjust to life in the SEC but will be competitive long term.

You will slowly learn why SEC programs complain yearly about conference SoS and bowl/playoff positions and seeds.

Good game and good luck reast of season.

This. They are in denial and have been.

Potentially. I still think the talent we have is as good as any other . They’re young. It’s pretty crazy that OU would probably have the same record in the B12 right now. The silver lining I suppose is all the freshman are getting tons of playing time.

OU was stupid to hire BV. Your program was in great shape, 2 great coaches back to back. When Riley left you went out and hired a coordinator with ZERO head coaching experience. What's crazy is...why would you expect anything different. Its like putting your 15 yr old kid behind the wheel of a corvette...bad move.
Programs that have been winning for 15 years straight dont go hire a lifetime coordinator to be their head coach. They do what BAMA, LSU, and USC did...they go take a proven head coach from someone.

You think so? He’s definitely brought in some great defensive guys but you’re probably right. I can’t imagine him leaving Clemson for another DC job.

This was 7 years ago. OU's offense is nowhere near that level at this point. Venables isn't the guy.

We also did this. Hiring head coaches is always a bit of a gamble.

Missouri had a terrible injury filled first season in the SEC. The offense was dead and none of our quarterbacks looked good. The next year Missouri finished ranked in the top 5 nationally. Other SEC teams have done similar.

Teams can turn around in one year. Most of the teams that are middling this year could make a run next year. Most SEC teams recruit well and have talented rosters so we just don't know what kind of teams coaches will put together in the off season. Especially with the portal now.

Cheer up and look forward to next year. You may be surprised.

They thought they were getting Bob Stoops and instead ended up with John Blake.

If I heard OU decided to bounce from the SEC, it wouldn't surprise me. It would probably be for their benefit. The SEC isn't for everyone. Its a beast.

Be great if they take tu with them as well

You had no idea what you were doing.

Aggies went to the SEC and yes we sucked but you do NOT have the resources that A&M and Texas do. Not even Bama or LSU.

Hell Pickens outspends your school. NIL will destroy you. Prepare to lose a lot.

Oklahoma will be fine, this is the first time where you guys have a below average qb since i can remember. You would have at least 2 more wins with a Sluka type qb.
