Every game they played, it didn’t feel like the scoreboard. That defense is special. I’m not sure as an OU fan that I’ll see it again. That offense, regardless of players being hurt is just bad. With all the quality recruits being committed and previously, I just can’t see Oklahoma having a balanced team. It’s clearly obvious right now. That’s a dang good defense but you can’t win when they’re on the field 90% of the time. Oh well, I suppose they’ll adjust next season.

Honestly, it’s not even an SEC issue. How do you drop the ball that hard with an elite program

I’ve been surprised at the level of play. Haven’t followed it closely though. Seems like a school with all the resources and history

I really don’t know. I get the young guys having to step up but jeez. The future doesn’t look bright at the moment. That’s no offense to Missouri. They played great and won. I’m worried about the players transferring and commits leaving.

Thank you for joining and providing Mississippi State with some company in the conference’s basement. It can get lonely down there.

Feels like that will be the norm for the near future. It's so funny though considering all the Oklahoma and Texas fans who pretended this was the same as the Big 12 though.

Before we get crazy sucking off Texas they have had a very favorable schedule

OU was never elite. They benefitted from being in two conferences where there was only one other regional power.

You are now in a conference that has 12 other teams that compete at this level regionally.

Mizzou did not play great. They played like garbage for most of the game, lead by a terrible backup QB. Brady Cook is mediocre and the game probably isn't close if he plays.

If I heard OU decided to bounce from the SEC, it wouldn't surprise me. It would probably be for their benefit. The SEC isn't for everyone. Its a beast.

I really don’t think at the moment it’s an SEC problem. In the future it might but for now I don’t think so. It kind of feels like the SEC is down this season. I follow recruiting like most of you. OU will be fine but dang, it’s rough to watch. In all honesty, I’m not black pilled. They have a good group going forward but I can’t believe how terrible this season has been. You can’t make the excuse of all the receivers being hurt when you have top 100/250 guys behind them.

You have more blue chippers than every team that kicked your arse. No, not an SEC problem. So no one is talented, the problem is a lack of talent at OU, hmm.

The answer might be that it's, in fact, an SEC issue

that's the thing, the sec is down and ya'll are still 1-5.

Missouri had a similar first year but we played 5 top 10 teams and then won our division the next 2 years.

we tried to warn ya'll
