I would not be “disappointed without a natty in 2 years. That’s pretty unrealistic expectations. Georgia’s program is rolling pretty good and has not won a natty in 3 years. Bama in 5. That’d be pretty unrealistic to be disappointed although may happen who knows.

Isn’t that why you hired him?

Isn’t that why anyone hires anybody? Did Ole Miss not hire a coach to be competitive for a championship? Just seems like an odd statement to make.

I’ll be here to mock all of you when Pete Golding has a better season than Lane Kiffin.

You dumb fricks are talking about “building a team” when Kiffin has never done that in his lifetime. What you see this season is as good as it will always be. There is no player development. It’s just back to the portal for the next season.

You talked all that shite about how Kiffin was going to stay just for him to give you a swift kick in the nuts on his way out of town.

No wonder you're still in pain to this very day.

I don't ever expect to win a championship.

I do expect to be in the playoffs more years than not. And of those years we're in it, I expect to win a game or 2 in some of those years (i.e., not be a perennial one-and-done team).

It’s just amusing that the most unlikable coach in college football represents the most unlikeable fan base in college football.

We need to be in the playoff discussion unless the team is plagued by injuries.

I’ve noticed people think LSU won’t be patient with Lane, but many of us have Brian Kelly the benefit of the doubt for 4 years.

If LSU goes 9-4/10-3 and misses the playoffs it’ll depend on how it happens. Were we blown out?!? Were we decimated by injuries?

Above all we are just fired up to have a good product back on the field. Anyone with eyes could see LSU was pathetic for all the talent it had on paper.

This is a silly take too. All of my SEC friends visit LSU and generally are blown away by the hospitality. I’ve been to all of the major SEC programs minus Oklahoma and we are far and away the most hospitable.

Ole Miss is arguably the least but thankfully I know Grove tailgates. If you don’t have a tent in the grove you’re fricked

Seriously though, I want a playoff berth within the first three years. That seems reasonable

You might be the only reasonable LSU fans I've seen. Most of em will want to burn it down if he's not in the playoffs by year 2. Not a shot to LSU fans per se just the expectations are so high right now.

I do think he gets it done at LSU. However it goes, it will be interesting to watch.

Edit, my apologies. There's a few more reasonable ones in the thread.
