Kentucky and who else are the “bunch”?

Alabama was super fortunate to catch Kentucky in week 2, wonder what that game would look like now?

But what if Bama beats LSU again?

Please list this “bunch of good wins”

Here is a list of wins that are better than what Tennessee has other than Alabama in order.

28 point win @ Kentucky
31 point win vs South Carolina
11 point win vs A&M
33 point win @ Miss St before the QB injury.
14 point win vs Florida St

Every one of those teams is rated higher on F+ than Auburn.

The only win Alabama has that is lower is ECU. Every other game Alabama has played this year has been a tougher game than Tennessee's 2nd toughest game.

You sure?

That Tennessee kicked Bama’s arse this year? Yeah, I’m pretty sure

A team that loses by 16 to anyone probably shouldn’t be in the playoffs

Your 2 best wins are Texas A&M and Miss St.

Alabama has wins over both of them.

Alabama also has wins over Kentucky and South Carolina.

And we’re not ranked #5 either

There’s no way to talk yourself into 5 making sense. Most of your fans think it’s dumb. It’s ok to call a spade a spade

Texas A&M and Miss State are bad this year and FSU is so shitty they just bought out their $50 million coach

These are the glorious wins that elevate bama to 5??

Agreed, a win here & they're in good shape for the SECCG. I'll eat my hat if Kentucky makes it instead. Kiffin has them looking good, but Bama is a much stiffer test than anyone they've played, other than Ole Miss.

Deboer is very good at big games, Kiffin is too though. I'm just excited to watch it as a neutral fan

I'm pulling for Kentucky to win out, but if you put a gun to my head I'm predicting they finish 9-3.

They've got a really tough schedule to finish out the year. Could end up being seen as the toughest by the time it's over.

I hope Alabama can win, but LSU is the favorite for good reason. Good defense and that crowd noise really exposed us @ Tennessee and we aren't the best road team anymore. But they are also capable of winning if they can handle the environment and limit mistakes.

I sure hope like hell we have a better way to call plays than the guard standing against the center to snap the ball.

It is dumb but LSU fans should be happy because if they win on Saturday, it's a huge resume boost. Regardless, this is the Committee's reasoning:

CFP selection chair Hunter Yurachek on ESPN on Alabama vs. Tennessee: "I think you look first at Alabama went on the road and beat the team we have ranked 6th this week in Kentucky. They also beat South Carolina, who is ranked in the top 25.

I think many forget they went on the road and beat Mississippi State when Mississippi State was undefeated and at full strength.

We really valued that as a strong win for Alabama back there in the early part of the season when Mississippi [State] was, again, they had that quarterback in Kamario Taylor who was very, very good and Mississippi State was on a roll at that time.

We see those as three quality wins. Yes, they had a loss to Tennessee. But Tennessee doesn't have the same level of quality wins.

They do have the win against Alabama, but you have to go a little deeper to see Tennessee with another quality win on their schedule."

Because you don't have 2 higher quality wins. If you did have 2 higher quality wins, you would be. Alabama has wins over both your best win teams and then more.

I have Alabama #4 in resume based rankings and I don't give a frick what other Alabama fans say. Most of them don't know shite.

Well no, he was playing injured in that game.

ESPN -

quote:

Taylor injured the toe against Missouri on Sept. 26. He attempted to play in two subsequent games -- Alabama on Oct. 3 and Oklahoma on Saturday. (He missed the game at LSU on Oct. 17.) He clearly wasn't 100% in both of the games he played after the injury and left both early.

From the recap -

quote:

The game featured two of college football's most dynamic quarterbacks this season, but the mobility of the Bulldogs' Kamario Taylor appeared limited by an ankle injury last week and he struggled Saturday. His early fumble and two interceptions set up Alabama touchdown drives.

“It’s pretty obvious that he wasn’t able to do anything with his legs,” Mississippi State coach Jeff Lebby said. “So, him not being able to do some of those things, it changes it. It makes it harder.”

Taylor was sacked five times and pulled from the game with the Bulldogs down by 26 early in the fourth quarter.

“He did look kind of iffy getting out of the pocket and stuff and we knew that,” Alabama linebacker Caleb Woodson. “So, we knew we had a better chance to contain him.”

Those are all teams rated higher than Auburn, which is Tennessee's 2nd best win. Keep up with the topic.

F+ power ratings

#48 Auburn.

Auburn has the #2 SOS, per ESPN.

Yes, those are all teams rated higher in power rankings than Auburn, your 2nd best win.

Tennessee set the bar that low, not me.

Now do the Tennessee schedule.

I notice we are only talking about the games Alabama played. For some reason Tennessee fans can't bring up all the great games they won outside Alabama for their argument.
