I'm amazed at how Pawl plays his audience.....

"This is very predictable if you follow Nick Saban closely. Whenever he loses a game, like a national championship game, here comes the excuse. Here comes the Nick Saban grievance tour. I mean sometimes I don't know whether Nick Saban is trying to continue to be the greatest coach of all time, or he wants Jimmy Kimmel's job. I don't really understand it. Quite frankly, at some point, it's not a great look. And I know that's not a popular thing to say where I live because Nick Saban can do no wrong. But first it was NIL that the was complaining about over and over, and now he's quibbling about what happened last year."

I'm curious as well, since the topic was making fun of paul finebaum, which people do on this board every day.
But I suppose since it was started by a UGA fan and loosely invovles saban, bama fans think we're triggered.

where? OP was talking about paul finebaum and his audience, as mentioned specifically in the title of the thread. You're the only one that brought up UGA.

finebaum is in the entertainment first and foremost. You pretty much nailed it, if there's ever a lull or things are getting stale, he knows all he has to do is say anythign negative about alabama in any way and he'll have the phone off the hook all week. He's springer for radio.

Its another thread about Saban's "rebuilding" comments that only UGA fans seem to take exception to. Which I would understand if the comments were about Georgia but they weren't

If by arguing, you mean that Saban said things not typically characteristic of Saban the goat?
I disagree with Paawwwl. Saban is very calculated in everything he says. This just feels like a time that he wasn't. That is all.

He's been the king of excuses for many years, he will always blame something or someone other than himself.. a huge character flaw among other things.

He actually said this ,live, on his show last summer : "Ms. Terry gave me a tour of their home & she showed me Nick's huge closet". Bragging like a 12 year old.
