So that's the actual genetic community you got? I got North Alabama Settlers.
That was just the highest concentration. It looks like St. Landry Parish and Evangeline Parish. I know I have a great(x3)grandfather from Morgan City who was a member of Bailey Vinson's Scouts (Teche Guerrillas) in the War of Northern Aggression.
I also have quite a bit from Mississippi.

Who cares about that shite.
Let’s trace Football National Championships instead. Is any player still alive from the 1939 team?

Come on now. They won once in 1939. Depending on what poll you trust.

There are several!
And they’re an amazing group to talk with (just as the 2019 LSU team will be in several decades).
Their stories are a hoot—a bunch of farm guys with few dimes to rub together.
Unfortunately we lose another one, seemingly each year.

You’ll receive no argument from me.
Though I prefer coarse mustard to yellow.
I think it’s the Brit in me.

Sending your DNA to a company that is almost certain to have people from the government meddling...smart.

There's an easy test to see if that one was accurate.
Get yourself some bourbon. Play any kind of fiddle music. Film yourself attempting to dance before the bourbon.
Drink half the bottle. Film yourself attempting again.
Finish the bottle. Film yourself trying Not to dance.
Review when sober.
You will know if it's in your blood

Hate to break it to you, but that does not make you a cajun. Unless your family came off the boats from Nova Scotia, then you are simply an ancestral Louisianian. Actually that was pirate territory in 18th and 19th century LA. Given you are an aggie, I wonder what type of pirate you would have been?

Those ancestry test are really cool. I did one for a genetics project in college and found out my paternal grandparents immigrated from Germany in 1886 to NY, and my maternal grandfather from Russia in 1879 from Germany as well, plus my grandmother who’s parents are from Russia.
