This is going to be more fun than I thought.
Tennessee, Miss State, and Auburn don't feel like instant losses either.
The "accumulative" effect you mention is amusing. The only dominant team on your schedule next year is you. Maybe Mercer is a powerhouse that's been under my radar. Your schedule is not daunting, but congrats on scheduling Miami and other good non-conference opponents lately.
Schedule toughness?
A&M plays more FCS teams than anybody and they were the second best team in the SEC last year after their enormous upset of what turned out to be a 4 loss (in a shortened season) Florida squad. You think either of those teams is frightening to any top 25 team in the US?
You seem to be struggling with the scope of the post I made. I was comparing the generally quality of football teams. SEC is solid with, at the moment, one dominant team.
Believe your own conference propaganda. The bulk of the SEC will (as usual) be looking to you to uphold the honor of the conference.
Even your dominance over time doesn't apply to Texas. Things change. Enjoy being on top. You won't be there forever. Nobody stays there forever. Even the arrogant, toxic, evil Longhorns of Texas.

One line that, oddly enough, remains appropriate. Goodbye to the chickenshit Aggies who still identify themselves in comparison to Texas.
You were a rival even if a desperately overmatched one in just about every sport. So, yea, we made a special point of beating you. You're unbearable when you win. (SECers, recall the T-shirts Aggies had done up about controlling the Tide? One win. T-shirts of dominance!)
I don't think anyone needs a review of the Aggie tu spiel. You've been wearing it out for 12 years here in your new home.
Winners don't need spiels.

That's the Aggie! You passed us up by running away. Now your fanbase on Texags is furious with the SEC and terrified of the future.
We stuck with the conference you fled. You promised to stay and took money then fled.
Now you're warning the SEC that Texas is coming to ruin the SEC. That's kind of insulting to the SEC don't you think?
When you whine about Nebraska leaving because of Texas' changes to conference rules, you neglect to point out that you (and the rest of the conference except Nebraska) voted with Texas regarding partial qualifiers and other standards.
Dust off all the old ebil tu memes and lies. They're always good for a laugh.

You call it running away where I call it finding a better opportunity. I guess it was a better opportunity because you are trying to join us.
You call it changing conferences. Everyone else sees it as destroying everything you touch for your personal gain. You are blowing up a conference because you just aren't that good at football. You desperately want to be relevant again so you can tell the world, "TEXAS IS BACK!"
I never said anything about TexAgs nor did I mention Nebraska. I thought Texas was supposed to be the Stanford of the South, but count me as underwhelmed with your intellect and discussion skills.
I haven't been saying anything, but one could make the argument that yall earned that reputation. Would you disagree?
I don't know what to do other than to just laugh at you. First, you try to make yourself out as heroic when in reality, the LHN became a boat anchor for you. You couldn't leave as no other conference would have you because of the LHN. That still stands today – if you want in the SEC, bye bye LHN! You tried to spin it as you were the saviors of the Big 12, but the truth was you were maximizing revenue for yourselves and not the conference, and quite frankly, that is why the Big 12 sucks. You had all the advantages and still couldn’t win. Second, we exited the Big 12 without destroying the conference. When A&M left, nothing happened other than DeLoss soiling himself and throwing a temper tantrum. Finally, you have promised to stay until 2025? I find the immense hypocrisy amusing. You try to chastise A&M for doing something and then you do the same thing and see no problem with it. Your lack of a realistic perspective is what makes Texas Texas.
Well, in hindsight, creating your own network didn't work out so well, and creating an easy path to the playoffs didn't make it any easier for Texas to make the playoffs. If you were smarter, you would realize this, but you won't.
You can dwell on your history and how proud you are of the glory days, but if you weren't losing to A&M, you would have stayed put in the Big 12 where you did as you pleased. When our strategy played out much better than your strategy, guess who comes running over because nothing drives a longhorn crazier than having an Aggie be better at something.
You now have the opportunity to change things, but the reality is you have had more money and resources for the last decade in an easier conference and just pissed it away. Why do you think changing conferences is going to solve your problems?
You can try to spin the narrative any way you want, but the reality is you are following us. I guess yall aren't the leaders and innovators that you tell yourselves you are.

We're accustomed to being hated and liked. Comes with the high profile.
My first post here. It will be strange new world for everyone, but hopefully fun.
Arkansas should be happy to have the state of Texas open up a little bit more for them in recruiting. Leaving the old SWC hurt them there. Being the only non-Texas school in that conference always made them feel cheated and a little alien. That should all be balanced out now. That was a fun rivalry.
A&M should be happy to be back in the same conference with the school essential to their identity. Their fight song (War Hymn! Manly War Hymn!) and cheers (They're yells! Manly yells because we're very manly and very secure about it!) will actually have some meaning again at least when they play us. I'm sure they're delighted.
OU remains on our schedule so that's three teams with whom we have history. We have some with Missouri, too. I hope they've improved the playing surface.
All the Aggie stories about Texas' softness, toxicity, entitlement, and current abilities will be worked out on the field(s). You'll find Austin and DKR Memorial to be great places to visit for games.
We already had a few of you scheduled.
The Texas Longhorns don't want to be your damn brothers. We don't want to be family. We don't ask that anyone watch our back. No strong school in any conference ever does. Let's get it on.
Hook 'Em!

You're making a few pretty retarded assumptions here, dumbass.
For the benefit of other Texas fans, I hope your sports teams don't suck as bad as your message board skills.

Talking shite when you’re 73-53 in the freakin Big 12 and have been owned (3-7) by TCU the past 10 years. Hilarious. All hat and no cattle, frick off.

We will be happy to share a conference with Alabama and also the title of biggest conference villain. The one who all of the sisters of the poop blame for their problems, the bad refs, their slight on ESPN. It’s draining carrying all of the emotional baggage of the past shitty teams, having someone else to blame and claim “runs things” will be nice for a change.
And lol at the “middle class” sec teams and their “you don’t know how tough it’s gonna be”. Bless your irrelevant hearts.

"Message board skills" is not a talent I would brag about.
Check the stats on your state and you'll see what I mean. It is not an assumption.

Those statements are unrelated. Our record has no bearing on a statement about the toughness of the SEC schedule.
Brief enough?

Hey dummy, you realize "Texas Fight" itself is a ripoff of an old Aggie song, right? The whole damn song itself is an homage to A&M
